All the intriguing mysteries have been met with unsatisfying retarded explanations. Armin surviving getting roasted by the Colossal and falling 5 billion feet was objectively SHIT. Mikasa is a princess now? Sasha had no character development before dying. Connie and Jean barely have any character. The main character has 3 titans in him, one is the most important put in him by his father, literally just Naruto. Titanshit and memories get passed on through time and space, what the fuck is this dumb bullshit?

There's also ZERO tension because Levi just defeats the big bad on his first confrontation. Build up whatever antagonist, as soon as Levi comes face to face with him, he's beaten. Turning it into a generic war story is even less interesting than the mysterybait it was before. Also, none of the characters are likable or interesting. Fags on Yea Forums just find some random background girls who said like 5 lines of dialogue and will pretend to like her just to seem like this shitshow offers something.

The politics are shallow, the characters one-dimensional and the fight scenes are underwhelming. If you're 12 years old and have read 5 manga in your lifetime, I guess I can understand your viewpoint.

Eren got "eaten" like 3 times? So what? They injure everyone but the important ones never have any long time consequence. They built up Kenny so much. Levi beats him as soon they face each other. They built up Monkey Trouble. As soon as Levi confronts him, it's an easy win again. The midget is just Superman, there's zero tension. Every battle is predictable.

Not really, the writing is still as poor as it's ever been. Doing "twists" mean nothing if you're not gonna do something great with them. The politics and war aspects seem written by a 13 year old.
