The only one I don't really like using is Ridley, but eh, you've got a fine bunch. Luigi used to be my main in 4, and I still can't wrap my head around him in Ultimate.
Never been that big of a Fox fan, but fighting him is usually fun and fair. Wolf's way cooler.
So you like the feel of heavy/weight characters. The Doc doesn't get much love, so I am glad you've got him there. I used to HATE Yoshi in 4, but I can deal with far easier in Ultimate.

For me, Doc and Pac were mains from Thursdays of their origin game but with this game I picked up Corrin and Gunner out of curiosity, while I told myself I would main Ridley DAY ONE as soon as that nigga showed up on screen, I've never been more hype for a reveal. The bottom three definitely arent my best but I'm getting there and enjoying them for sure.

Megaman main here, what I do is throw my metal blade downwards so I can pick it up, followed by leaf shield, throw the leaf shield first then throw the blade towards them when they last expect it, mostly when I see them running towards me. If they block then it a great opportunity to grab them while they block and if they get hit by it, either grab or dash attack depending on the situation. I would also say utilize back slash more than flame sword
