Better than Cities Skylines my dude?

Cities Skylines is dogshit

too bad they shat all over trade routes and removed other minor conveniences

Skylines has good systems but no challenge. Anno has production lines that can collapse and war is always likely, also revolutions, disease and fires becoming unmanageable if you're not careful.

>better than shit base game + 500 DLCs that improve it
well, yes

Crack when?

DLCs are free as long as you're not a buycuck.

>better than ugly grey blocks with no soul: the game
yes

Crack when?

>Tfw constantly in the red
How do i get that sweet gold boys?

yeah just wait until you get higher level and you need 20 gold mines to make watches and jewelry, and 3 types of metal refined into bars, stuff from new world, and 2 more sub factories to supply the main factory to make carriages.

There is nothing to City Skylines besides traffic management.

nobody plays games like this for challenge

i thought cities skylines was impossibly hard due to intentionally game ruining traffic

Sell ships to Archibald and make sure your people are always drunk.

Attached: counting-money.jpg (640x427, 34K)

Yeah i've been selling ships to keep me afloat, no hop fertility on my island though

Then ship it in from another island. Alcohol is unironically the most important thing in the game.

Just finished the campaign, it sure ended quite abruptly.

Anyone up for a multiplayer game? First time I'm trying to play one so any kind of players are welcome.

Attached: wtf.jpg (600x600, 86K)

go settle another one and send the hops back to main island until you can offload beer to another island.. you're going to have offload your production onto other islands eventually because you want your main island as pretty as possible for the tourist whales to come and throw thier money around at your zoos and expo.

Based ubisoft.
Gonna get some IPA's going for my hard working artisan boys

Why are you pretending the game is released?

Attached: 1546472601279.png (1071x767, 64K)

>muh steam
It has to launch through uplay anyway so why use a middle man?

>double drm
why though

You need a decent bus and tube network to take cars off the road. And you can edit junctions now and get rid of traffic lights. Then there's underpasses and flyovers. Cities skylines is not hard.

Where's the crack?

QUESTION

I know it was pretty simple, but I really liked land combat in 1404. Is fighting on ground present in 1800?

These camps in 1404 took a long time to move and deploy and thus felt pretty strategic to command.

Are you retarded?

fucking drone.

>i thought cities skylines was impossibly hard due to intentionally game ruining traffic
You are unironically bad at traffic management dude. If you looked out your window and noticed a few key rules they you'd never have traffic problems.

There's no land combat in 1800

As long as i said is only ships. Its lame i agree with you.

>Is fighting on ground present in 1800?
no, 1404 land combat was a clunky afterthought anyways.

Just like every other Anno game, cities are far too small and function like retarded tinker toys.

How are you spacing your buildings out?
Mine are too densely packed and everything is on fire

Just have enough fire stations and its not an issue. They'll deal with any fires fast enough that it's unlikely you'll ever have to rebuild ruins.

Because 8f we can emulate steam steam... can... emulate uplay?

On uplay for 60 bucks

Attached: D8CRtMS_d[1].jpg (374x374, 14K)

>How are you spacing your buildings out?
for fire prevention you just need your stations to have good coverage. on paved roads response time is very fast but a little bit over lapping coverage helps in case it spreads.

The only reason why you should space buildings is for aesthetics. Build 2 roads with an empty tile in the middle, put there fences or rows of trees.

how the fuck do I unlock additional avatars?

>how did they do it Yea Forums?
The power of 20 years of autisitically making the same game again and again and again with slight improvements along the way.

Attached: Anno 1602.png (1644x826, 1.6M)

i am confused, is this game on uplay, epic or both is some strange way?

>use your brown bricks to build paved roads
>i get two per minute
it takes forever

It's for sale on the Epic Store and Uplay, but either way you still have to use Uplay because it's a Ubisoft game.

So you really you just have a choice of using one launcher or two.

Always help to have a buy order on bricks I find, they can be such a bottleneck compared to the other building materials.

WARNING! DONT SELL YOUR ISLANDS SHARES
The Queen is a jewy cunt who'll rib you for all you've got

The trade route mechanics are so fucking bad that they actually make the game unplayable.

for the nth time, both, but UPlay is required in any case.

build more brickmakers then, an entire brick chain is only 100 workers.

Think of buying the game. Doesn't it get stale fast? also I just wanne build nice cities with littly challange is that possible?

People who still buy Ubisoft games should be killed.

I'll believe Germans made a good game when non-Germans confirm it's actually a good game.

Attached: 1278967948050.png (523x472, 30K)

Is it that significantly better than 1404? I'm still playing 1404 and can't be assed to pay for a full priced game yet, but people just call it a straight improvement. Do you see any reason to play 1404 again if you have 1800?

Do you mean the trade routes in 1800? what did they change

have sex

I play for 10 hours already on only one map and have a feeling I'm only scraping the bottom of the barrel. There's so much shit to do in this game.

>Doesn't it get stale fast?
Anno is timeless, seriously it's the sort of shit you will play for fucking years.
>also I just wanne build nice cities with littly challange is that possible?
Yeap, you can setup a continuous game however you like with as few AI as you want on maximum pussy difficulty etc

It is significantly better than 1404, but if you're poor as fuck check out the IAAM mod for 1404, couple of hundreds of hours worth of content there and it honestly feels like a whole new game.

If you're a sandbox fag, yes it's better, a lot of refined mechanics have been added.
If you're a solo faggot like myself, there's barely any content right now to justify the price, campaign is a disapointment and there's no scenarios.

You can't cap or reserve goods on your island, so if you want beer from one island to another, your ships will end up taking all the beer, leaving none behind - unless you autistically micromanage which means the trade route is pointless.

Come one niggas, no one up for MP?

Attached: 4chan danchou.png (457x640, 235K)

>Do you see any reason to play 1404 again if you have 1800?
i play 1701, 1404, and 2070 regularly. ive never uninstalled them unless i upgrade and when that happens they're the first games i immediately install again.

>how did they do it Yea Forums?
>they
Hey there marketer
watcha doin

I think thats how it works in 1404 vanilla too

> unless you autistically micromanage which means the trade route is pointless.
that's how its always worked though. you choose how many tons of stuff to ship and adjust as demand grows.

It sucks early game when you're juggling population needs on multiple production islands but eventually your going to have commuter ports so you'll be sending everything to the one isladn anyway.

Hopefully they add it back though, loads of small QoL things were left out.

you get electricity to double productivity (i.e. halve the cost!) of producing the most expensive item you can and then sell that to the AI.
Also steam engine parts sell for 8000 a piece or something like that.

Attached: Anno 18002019-4-20-4-49-12.jpg (2560x1440, 1007K)

By removing it from Steam.

>(((Steam)))
Nah
>Uplay
Nah

Wait what? I think you can reserve goods on an island, I remember seeing a "Reserved 0" label somewhere

Crack when

Attached: 1553536695043.png (683x751, 136K)

You can set a sell treshold of all materials on selling and buying the option is in the warehouse and the routes lets you specify how much of an item you want to sell\load\buy. Whats your problem?

>Have 80 relations with AI
>Take over island by buying shares
>-50 relations in one go
>Declares war on you immediately
Isn't there supposed to be a peaceful option in Anno?

Attached: Anno 18002019-4-19-21-51-49.jpg (2560x1440, 836K)

If I tell my ships to pick up beer from island 1 and ferry it to island 2, they will continue doing this and emptying island 1 in the process (until island 2's warehouse is filled with the good). If I make a trade route that is.

In 2070 you could actually reserve goods on your island, so I don't see why we have to lose that mechanic.

When you setup a route you can specify how much of a certain item you want to load on the ship. If you go empty its because you dont have enough supplies.

>"I'm sorry chap, but isn't that... A bloody crocodile, in the street?"
>"No old sport, that's an alligator."
>"On come on Charlie, you know what I meant."

It's in the "too hard, too little interest" pile for crackers at the moment.

And with Warhammer 2 DLC, AssCreed DLC, Mortal Kombat 11, MORDHAU and a bunch of other shit either out/being cracked or will soon be out with a big demand for a crack it could be a while.

THAT BLOOMIN TURNIP

GERT LUSH

He knows that. But that's a lot of unnecessary tinkering around production times and shipping times because of the loss of a feature previous games had.

There is a "reserved" label when you mouse over a resource but it's always 0. No way to set a reserved level anywhere.

>it took me 10 years to find out how to load soldiers in and out of boats, because I had no manual
>before I just build a dock on the enemies island and then proceeded to build units there

YOU'RE TYING THE KNOT
NEVER

>not on GOG
>not on Steam

don't care. might pirate if I feel like it.

The reserved label has something to do with goods being offloaded to wagons and picked up by your factories etc, it doesn't have anything to do with with what I'm talking about in regards to trade routes.

That's for when a factory is enroute to collect it.

At least it was better than 1701's dumbassery. Not that it's saying much though.

Well thats the game you have to think trough a basical industrialization process (production line - shipping - selling). I think is the theme of the game since we are in the 1800.
Im gonna tell you i wanted more warehouse moving without the "every warehouse has all the materials" but with logistic route as you need to move the goods between warehouses.

campaign was ok, but now it's time for multiplayer rushing

>don't care
>proceeds to have a bit of a cry while he tells us how little he cares.
The absolute state of you.

Dude with the mechanics currently I can't have any beer on island 1 ( ) unless the warehouse is literally filled to the brim on island 2. If this is what you call "enough supplies" then I don't know what to tell you.

Why would you want to buy an Ubisoft game on Steam?

>time for multiplayer rushing
Absolutely disgusting, you should be deeply ashamed of yourself

you build a fleet of ships and destroy the other guys' fleet ships and attack his island's defenses (cannons and the like) and take over. don't expect serious tactics, you just click and watch, this is a builder game after all not full on rts. or you can just use financial might and buy out all the shares, or just have your fingers in everyone else pies making money.

Are there still unlockable cosmetics or are those all dlc now?

>we will not get an Anno game set in the 1900s because of a dumb inside joke taken way too far

Maybe you'll get Anno 1800: the sequel

*cums in your boypussy*
Ok, had sex, what now?

You can re-enact the Battle of the Dardanelles, where a lone then-modern armoured cruiser BTFO'd an entire fleet of older ships that couldn't even scratch the lone attacker.
Before said battle the greek admiral offered to resupply his ottoman opponent's fleet so they could have a fair fight, but I don't think this game models fuel and supplies accurately enough to pull that off.

Based!

crack when?

tbf, Anno 1800 is pretty much in the span between 1760 and 1840. So we have a bit of 19th century influence

>1602

Haha, holy shit, I never noticed.

Just call it ANNO 1980 and say 99 is a good enough continuation of the stupid joke.
Imagine. It could be like a worse Tropico.

>exit game and cry

Attached: 1548361259651.gif (400x400, 1.64M)

So has anyone figure out how to stop every other person declaring war on you.

I just want a comfy trading sim. But every other butthole just decides to start eternal war because I have the audacity to put out fires in my own city.

how does war play out in 1800? combat was always the weakest part of these game. 2205 was just combat ships and 1404 was fucking weird.

ships and coastal defenses

It's only naval combat now but it's honestly an improvement. At least now you have proper ship stats and wind direction and stuff like that.

~3 coastal defense guns per island and it becomes very easy to defend.
Problem is that it ties up all your influence you would need to build a big navy.

>2070
>Combat consists of air raids and tactical nukes
>Some advanced battle cruisers and rubber boats with mini guns on sea while subs nuke those
It was entertaining at least.

>~3 coastal defense guns per island
She easily bypassed 8 heavy guns on every island.

the fuck are you talking about, nobody ever declares war on me. But maybe it's cause I'm playing in medium?

Its super basic and annoying. You can build various ships for attacking or escorting and port cannons to defend your ports. There's pirates who just get dunked on but spam your log with constant 'your ship is under attack' messages. Every so often one of the other AI 'players' will get angry (usually because you grow too fast, or too slow. Made too much money, or not enough. Or perhaps your town caught fire or you put out a fire in your town) and declare war on you.

From there the might attack undefended ports but even basic defenses seems to scare off huge death armadas. The only thing you can do then is build your own death armada and go blow up enemy ports to claim their islands. There's basically no strategy other than "have enough ship of the lines".

After you take a few enemy ports (which magically removes all the buildings and workers from the island, google "genocide" for more information) they will contact you looking for a peace treaty. Luckily they will offer to let you pay them thousands of dollars for the privilege of ending a war that they started.

There's no peaceful or diplomatic way to annex other 'players' either, since buying out their islands is an act of war in this world apparently.

They said they're willing to abandon the 9 if they feel like it, but probably not any time soon.

No steam no buy. Fuck the chinks, i'll pirate.

Attached: bwaaaah.jpg (1424x1904, 2.05M)

But is ubisoft...not epic.

Top fucking kek

2-star AI and below almost never declares war on you. The 3-star ones are batshit insane and WILL fight you.

Does slavery exist in this game? If so it’s not an actual representation of the time period.

Quit the campaign at stage 3 because my initial city was beyond fucked due to poor planning and I built myself into a corner pretty much. Started over in sandbox and am MUCH better off. 4700 population, 3300 income and still don't even have artisans unlocked yet. Main island doesn't have grain fertility so I'm in the process of building up a nearby island to get that going. Am excited to hit artisan and start doing expeditions for animals and art.

Keep happiness up and upgrade any spare workers to the next tier

once I found out that there was no real reward for doing the campaign outside of portraits, I lost all interest. If they had a building you unlocked or even just a new building DESIGN like the AI base in 2070, that'd be completely worth it. But just portraits? Man fuck that

>being this pathetic to bring an agenda into one where absolutely none exsists

and btw, land combat in 1404 was completely broken
you just needed a good amount of bricks on your island so you could build a bunch of towers around a camp and then just need to wait a minute

nah, it was completely broken and didn't forced camp vs camp combat
just quickly build a few towers and the AI/Beggars are fucked and after that you destroyed them and got your resourced back, lmao
they could have limited the amount of towers one can build, that would have fixed it

Can't wait for the Anno threads to get good again. Right now its just people asking for the crack, people complaining about Epic and newfags to the franchise who think it's Cities: Skylines.

Yea, it's been like that in older Games aswell tho.
I just hope that they're making some tweaks to it.
Vanilla 1404 had alot of stupid shit aswell.
I wanted to make a hub Island for collecting goods and offloading them afterwards.
Especially since I'm in war with everyone it's the easiest way.

Game just needs alot of QoL improvements, that we'll hopefully get. other than that, it's the best anno since awhile.

Yup, the mini map sucks and reserving stock on an island is missing. Those are my only two real gripes with the game, though. It's brilliant in almost every way

Just defend yourself, capture Islands that are unfortified.
Harder Islands are almost mandatory that you buy them slowly.
Also having shares on their main Islands early is a great way to get some extra cash later.
CTRL+Shift+R or something liek that for First-Person Mode, which is very buggy tho.

Ever had to go anywhere in cities that grew organically as shit was tacked on Paris, Berlin or Boston? It's a fucking nightmare.

thats honestly a terrible screenshot. You have convinced me you know nothing about framing or composition at all.

No, it has wide boulevards because Haussmann brought down buildings to make them, you silly goose

That's the point. European cities were built in the 18th century because before that they were tiny. And while they're much more beautiful and livable than American cities obviously, they're still based on grid layouts with diagonal connections. It's the mixture of commercial and residential spaces that makes them so attractive.

nothing fancy, just a WIP for one of my islands. Only up to workers atm, getting ready for artisans

I think im gonna pick it up. I enjoyed what I remember playing of 1600 and I thought the near future annos were souless trash. Always been interested in the gameplay and I love the aesthetic of this period in history.

I heard great things about it but I can't stand such outdated graphics

Supply happiness items (alcohol) and construct whatever happiness building your population needs, that will give you a massive increase in income per house. Select a house and click on the happiness tab to see what they need.

You can also use the paper to add +5/10/15% income and reduce goods consumption. Once I reach 500+ artisans i'm always at +2-3000 income.

Most importantly, don't overproduce goods because some buildings have a big upkeep cost especially in mid to late game, so use a calculator to see how many production buildings you need for your population. Just google anno 1800 calculator.

as opposed to illegitimately?

Idk why we germans love this shit but it's so satisfying building an efficient city with trade routes and those small islands full of iron works

It's an effective way to channel German energies away from genocide and Europe wide wars.

this doesn't factor in trade unions or electricity. this game is way more complex than previous annos

>1800 BGM is pretty unremarkable.
Fuck off. 1800 OST is incredibly good. Every bit as soulful and well-produced as the rest of the series (excluding 2205). In fact, the 1800 OST is the only one that makes me very nostalgic for something unknown.

You picked the wrong track btw. Get out with your need to hear lyrics, you simp.

It's production chain simulator.

it looks very nice and is very complex. there's also a massive downside to some of the huge grids posted here (fire hazard, medicine availability, railroad tracks)

It's a production chain sim more than a city sim. The limited space on islands along with the grid system is part of the challenge.

I just hope there isn't anything like 2070's Ark items that requires online, or at least never got cracked.
I ended up buying 2070, a decision I hate to this day.

I have only played Anno 2070 from the series.
Aside from the time period - what other notable changes are there? Is it better in any meaningful way?

Beside the always-online bullshit 2070 is a good game. Factions, underwater islands and even ecoscore were very nice additions to play with.

Correct, but I wish that aspect had been cracked so I didn't have to give Ubi money.

>first game
>going good so far, getting up to artisans

Attached: download.jpg (900x504, 141K)

is that 2250?

The game actually gives you metrics on productio/consumption so you know what and when to build, like in Factorio.
>nice game
Game doesn't give you any metrics whatsoever so you have to use calculators to know what and when to build
>nice ""game""
Kill yourself.

Is it stressful?

how well optimized is this game?

yes

you decide how many citizens you want at the start, let the anno calc do its work and then copy layouts from the wiki until you've won the scenario. anno isn't a game, it's just rote repetition autism. Factorio for brainlets and boomers

Fair enough for people who actually like Anno's combat system, but it isn't fun and just seems tacked on like it has to be there.

the progress is amazing, especially when you have to rethink your entire structure with electricity and workforce

2205 btw

I think it does, you can change the production % of each building in the calculator, unless that's not how trade unions work (i've never used them so far)

- Remember modules that you slotted in harbor?
Now you slot them in an unique building that cost influence point to be built, and you can built lots of them.
- The boost in 2070 that last for 30 minutes or so now comes in form of newspaper propaganda. That means you can get those boost right from the early game.
- There's island attractiveness point that is affected in 6 categories, 3 positive, 3 negative. Think of it like ecosystem point in 2070, but more varied now.

Forgot what else.

i bet you look up guides for RPGs too you fag.

Only have yourself to blame

>de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wuselfaktor
Translation: Wuselfaktor describes an imaginary, subjective unit of measurement for comparing economic simulations, particularly city building games. It has been used repeatedly by PC gaming magazines to describe the effect of seeing a lot of tiny people and other movable objects "bustle about" in games like Die Siedler, Cultures, Die Völker, Anno or even economic simulators like Rollercoaster Tycoon.
A high Wuselfaktor represents a pleasant to look at game experience. The small people are perceived as cute. The player is meant to have fun watching the bustling about of craftsmen, traders, animals and other things. The battle scenes typical of other strategy games take a back seat.

Build more pig farms and slaughterhouses and then you're going to need to increase your worker workforce. For the time being, go to your storehouse and set the sausages to purchase ~10t units of it which should sate everyone in no time.

Having more residences means having more income generating. Having higher tier residences greatly increases it. Sounds like you need more artisans at this point to keep the money flowing. Just make sure everyone's needs are met and you should bounce back fine.

I admit, I'm a newcomer to the series, but the balance going up by a lot then into the fucking red by a lot back and forth repeatedly is making me go bankrupt. Wat do? Help me git gud, anons

Attached: 1529966598526.jpg (763x771, 60K)

Not trying to appeal to antigrid retards

2070's "We will carry you" is just amazing, i wish they added some of the songs from previous games in 1800.

I'm aiming for scalability. Those are just for my current needs. I plan on expanding my main island (thats just a production island currently for the wheat and hops) to have more people and I'm not sure how much more wheat/hops I'm gonna need. So rather than placing fields in other spots on the island, I like to leave room around in case I want to expand them.

thanks anons.

i liked your 2205 screenshots btw, that other user clearly had a beehive up his butt

Oh right, expeditions.
- You can send ship to a "quest" now.
You must carry strategic items and rations in your ship so that it can dealt with various random event during their expedition (e.g. diplomacy, combat, stealth, faith, etc)

thanks I was looking for this

check your houses and see if all theri needs are fullfilleed, also check your trading post stock if you are out of certain goods or some are rapidly sinking

I would suggest you move all farming out of your main island as farm houses take up a large chunk of your build space. I get 2 island at the start of the campaign and move working clothes and pig farms to 1 and wheat+hops+potatoes to another, my main island is just for intermediate and final products.

Dismiss the notion that this is a city builder and learn that it is a supply chain manager.

Only supply as much as demanded. This will make upkeep lower than income generated from taxes. You can build using blueprints for your chains that you know you're going to need but don't have the population for to be able to use. Do not build/upgrade ahead of expected demand build only when demand is at the necessary level.

If 200 then build.
Not if going to be 200 then build.
And plan your chains in an efficient scalable manner.
And leave some space for traintrack throughout your city.

If there's anything liquid in this game you population is gonna be craving weither it be black gold or beer.

And kick out any production of your main island to be replaced by charters and trade ships for your other slave islands so you maximize evil landlord behavior.

I'm soo rich right now.
The only thing stopping me from tearing everyone a new one is how fucking OP big betty's are. My ten ship's of the line got roffled stomped when i first sicked them at a pirate base.

How many GBs was this game?

not only, Paris had a long tradition of insurections and barricades and one of the reason for it was the fact that a lot of streets were very narrow and meandering so canons and cavalry couldn't do shit against insurgents. Haussmann wide and straight boulevards meant that canon could easily take down a barricade and that cavalry could charge whoever was manning said barricade.
This is one of the reasons the Paris commune of 1871 got slaughtered by an army that was just bootyblasted by the prussians

REEEEEEEEE

In general, try to always have a surplus of both income and money. Set goals for yourself as you go to have a full coffer in case of emergencies.
So in previous games it'd be, for example, +500 and 50,000 (100k later in the game). Then fix whatever problem shows up, following the other anons' advice above.
Also in previous games, skim off the top of all your goods (5 to 10%) by passively selling them. This keeps your production from being wasted from idleness, and is another source of cash.
All this lets you concentrate on building instead of constantly checking your finances.

>i wish they added some of the songs from previous games in 1800

For everyone (rightly) frustrated by no reserving goods:

You can load/unload the same good in a port to guarantee you don't take the unloaded amount. So if you want to make sure 25 sausages get left on the island, load 50 and unload 25 during the same stop. That way, you'll only take the excess over 25.

Until they add in the reserve mechanic, this works just fine. You're welcome.

No, that's the thing. I have a market nearby, clothes shop near a warehouse so the wares get around, neighborhood is no too far away from the warehouse if that matters, yet they keep complaining about the fucking clothes.

Alternatively, his clothes production isn't connected to a warehouse and harbor.

To settle in a new island, you must carry planks and steel in your ship, then bring it the coast of empty island that you want to colonize.

Life is Feudal: Forest Village is comfier than this utter abomination of a game

Attached: life-is-feudal-forest-village-pc-review-3-1280x720.jpg (1280x720, 260K)

>you have shortage of some goods
>set second production chain for which you need more people which puts more strain on your other resources
>repeat ad infinitum
What do?

Just resources? I don't need to pay money? Getting sorta tight right now.

>Life is Feudal: Forest Village
>2004 PC graphics
>'MOSTLY NEGATIVE'
>can't even make managing like 10 farmers personal, fun, or engaging
Nah, it's a garbage game mate.

>"Mostly Negative"
>"Muh graphics"

How does it feel being an utterly cringeworthy npc?

Attached: maxresdefault.jpg (1280x720, 67K)

Good thing I didn't play anno for the meme aspect like comfyness lel.
I bet you can't even explain what makes a game "comfy" because you just parroted Yea Forums words.

It's not ad infinitum. You need less worker to produce the goods you need than the amount you gained from building new residences.

I don't think you know what 'scraping the bottom of the barrel' means, pal.

>play my shit game to spite da libs!
No thanks.

when?

Attached: 1546537330352.jpg (2000x1134, 265K)

hello?

>It's legit the best city builder ever made
hahahahaha exactly the type of shitty post i expect of a post 2012 newfag

Attached: 2019-04-20_8-57-56.jpg (643x95, 10K)

>needing a wiki to play a building sim

Attached: 1538808724856.png (413x549, 95K)

Is this game worth it anons? I've been wanting to play another city building simulator for a while and saw this. It looks good but I want to know if it also plays very well

Attached: 1549698181933.jpg (600x800, 79K)

>every single building would need stats for destruction/textures etc, its not just putting in units, the whole system would need to be expanded

Oh no, not actual work towards improving the formula!

>I didn't read the thread the post

Like, the game actually tells you everything you need to know about building chain production rates. Why do people just run to a wiki for this shit?

Comfy is nature, native European sounds, cottages, farming, first person character control -not manufacturing and stressing over money

I'll be honest; I never enjoyed land combat in the Anno series, and while 1503 didn't have the problems that made 1404 terrible in this area it still wasn't very fun. I'd rather not have it.

>He thinks it's about "libs"
cringe and go back to /pol/

"city builder" isn't even accurate. it's more of a "colonizing shit with your friends" simulator.

It's about manipulating people into funding your global conquest for some higher political power.

Why do people point to Barcelona like it's a good thing? It's the most soulless city in western Europe.

comfy

that is stupid argument should i have installed 100 clients just in case something interesting is released? i did honestly not know that the game was released i do not read any game websites becouse they are all shit so it is steam or Yea Forums for me

Unmodded Simcity 4 is pretty simple and very strict
Modded Simcity 4 is not a city builder but autist lego, because all the official mods that everyone gets make the game completely trivial.

How about you un-mindbreak yourself and look for games online instead of exclusively within Gabe's emporium and install the relevant clients as required?

stop shilling your shitty shovelware nigger

When are we getting ANNO 0009
ANNO 9000 BC
ANNO fantasy
ANNO 2007
?

Hahaha fuck you you dumb faggot
>I play a city builder for the combat

AHHAHAAH what the FUCK are you?

Attached: 1555127781376.png (499x497, 426K)

how much is epic paying you?

>$60
>day 1 $25 DLC
>day 1 $10 DLC
crack when, I could tolerate the switch to EGS since I can buy on Uplay but wtf with this DLC bullshit

Attached: 1555691752342.jpg (720x960, 73K)

look at yourself in the mirror and read this post out loud again.

>$60
>day 1 $25 DLC
>day 1 $10 DLC
You mean the season pass and the deluxe edition? How is this any different from any other game released in the past 5 years?

it was nice but lacked severely fleshed out late game stuff and the ai was horrible

Does the game rearrange the building placement you chose for your city in between chapters?

There's plenty of good city builders without this shit

and why would i do that? there is almost daily release of some interesting game i do not have time or reason to search for even more of them

I don't know. Maybe you'd want to play Anno 1800 for example?

That's not a good excuse m8

No.

Yes

I was talking about uPlay you braindead fuck, uPlay is Ubi platform. Not Epic.

You fucking moron.

Like, does it reload between chapters and give you a 'new' city during the campaign? No, it doesn't do that at all.

a lot, it seems

not very much, it seems

Quality german autism.

Imagine if PB had money. They'd make the best open world rpg ever. Oh wait, they already did.

PB?

Like, does it reload between chapters and give you a 'new' city during the campaign? Yes, it does do that.

sure but why the fuck i should spend my time for searching the game? i would likely buy it if i did see it in the store the only reason i know that the game is released is because of Yea Forums instead i just did buy Pathfinder kingmaker
well it does not matter i just find it funny that it is so suprising

Oi, you need a UBI loicense to play this.

Piranha Bytes.

Well you go to Yea Forums you fucking retard. You hear about them here.

RPG?

sure but why the fuck would i not spend my time for searching the game? i would likely not buy it if i did see it in the store the only reason i know that the game is released is because of Yea Forums instead i just did buy life is feudal: forest village
well it does not matter i just find it funny that it is so suprising

Someone is super anally aggitated, holy shit.

Attached: 1548818265284.jpg (566x517, 231K)

you seems angry about that user-kun

All modern Anno games are made by Blue Byte.

Someone is not really anally aggitated, holy shit.

Attached: 1555127348061.png (564x441, 492K)

1404 and 1800

Attached: 1548031993207.png (613x503, 172K)

Fuck you I don't even want to rebuild this shit.

Attached: 573c0be5e7edfa18bb90ba45065e4f8a.jpg (236x249, 11K)

What should I play until it gets cracked?

1800 and 2070

Wheres a good game in the Anno series to start. I'd prefer it to look..."pretty" if possible?

All modern Anno games are made by Paradox Interactive.

1337 and 9001

LET ME PLAY I HAVE NOTHING TO DO UNTIL THE NEXT KINGDOM HEARTS

>campaign ends by dumping burned out bright sands on you
Fuck you I don't even want to uninstall this shit

What should I play until it gets banned?

Wheres a good game in the X-COM series to start. I'd prefer it to look..."ugly" if possible?

Attached: gPttFtWV.png (240x240, 55K)

shit, 1404 did that and it annoyed me to no end. Why even ask for my input if your just going to change everything.

Based, I too refuse to support uplay

Cringe, I support uplay

have sex

What? No it fucking doesn't. It's one continuous session.

1404 Gold (with Venice expansion).

Attached: 1445544912984.gif (160x160, 844K)

You're getting rused, user.

spoilers you fuck

stop having so much sex

What? Yes it fucking does. It's lots of seperate sessions

You're not getting rused, user.

Please spoil everything for me

Why do games even cost money in 2019, everything should be like LoL or PoE

Attached: 042314534.jpg (500x500, 55K)

I'm so glad that games even cost money in 2019, everything should be like LoZ or PoS

Attached: Screenshot_59.png (738x444, 414K)

Just get your Yea Forums gold so you don't have to make block posts like this because of the cooldown. Would make you a lot more effective.

For fucks sake kill yourself

My pass expired yesterday and I need to save atm, thinking about it

Attached: 1491167564716.jpg (400x267, 17K)

For fucks sake please don't kill yourself

Hard enough to talk about video games here already and now we have console-like warriors coming into every thread to proselytise about muh steam and the gamer sin it is to trespass against our gabe and saviour. If this game is irrelevant to you because muh steam then just fuck off.

Why does it keep telling me this? What the fuck is the connection for? Is there some sort of always-on multiplayer?

Attached: Anno1800_2019-04-20_18-36-30.png (404x117, 112K)

very soon probably, Ubisoft is done milking AC and need a new cash cow

I can just buy this with uPlay and skip the epic meme store, right?

Easy enough to not talk about video games here already and now we have pc-like warriors coming into every thread to proselytise about muh bethesda and the gamer sin it is to trespass against our todd and saviour. If this game is irrelevant to you because muh skyrim then just fuck off.

is this the biggest Anno release? I see a lot of people playing it as their first anno game

Denuvo relies on a constant internet connection, especially 5.5

>no crack
This Denuvo shit has to come to an end. I'm not buying your shit game don't make me wait 2 months to pirate it you fuck.

Attached: 1449456054293.png (487x463, 215K)

My game is running real slow, and I've got a good rig. Whats the graphic options that are the biggest FPS vampire?

Attached: 1553408013858.jpg (480x480, 46K)

Why does it keep telling me this? What the fuck is the connection for? Is there some sort of always-on multiplayer?

Yes

how do you get transport to your main island if you don't unlock sailing until will into worker phase?

In 2070, there was this really cool world government or something that connected all the players and let them vote on issues to get global bonuses and read current events and whatnot. Nothing like that is in 1800 far as I know though so I'm not sure why it's there.

i just reacted to the fact that you find it surprising that i did not have idea about the release and that i should act as if this my responsibility to know

Attached: 1516287886270.gif (340x340, 137K)

Denuvo exists solely because of premature buyers who go all
>fuck this shit, I'm not buying this, fucking durm
>*buys it anyway*
Fucking incels of vidya who ruin it for everyone
Either buy because you want to support the devs or pirate because you don't, buying because you can't get it otherwise is incredibly pathetic
