I don't get why Sakurai was all "I wanted to put Rex and Spring Man in Ultimate, but their games were released too late into development and I didn't realize how popular they were until it was too late!" Like, I believe him, I don't think he's bullshitting us, but... Why does that mean they can't be in the game? Just make them DLC characters.
