Why was this called Bioshock?

Bio means water, yet this game takes place in the air. Shouldn't it be called Aeroshock, then? "Bio"shock only makes sense underwater

autism: the post

Aeroshock would've been a much cooler name, too.

Should have been called Aeroblow because it SUCKED

keeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek

Then it would be called Bioblow. Because the opposite of Bio is Aero according to OP's premise and the opposite of blow is suck.

Outside of the Plasmids it doesn't even come close to resembling a Bioshock game. It would have been better if it didn't even have the name Bioshock, but Ken Levin is too much of a fucking cuck.

Holy shit. That's such a missed opportunity.

This game should've been called something else, it's an embarrassment to the two first games.

>Bio means water
?

bio means "life", not water. Never heard of "biology"? It's a science about living things.
Title refers to DNA manipulations that became mundane thing in Rapture and ended badly.

and yeah, title is pretty much unrelated to Infinite, but it's not like it has many things that MAKE sense

Bio means life. like Biology is the study of life.
Hydro means water. Hydroplane, Hydrothermal.

No hydro means hydraulics

then why is it that marine biology is the study of water

(you)

bio doesnt mean water you dumb retard

Hydroshock would have been a great game title desu

and hydraulics is the mechanic use of fluid or water. hydra and hydro are synonyms.

brand recognition.

Have you played dishonnored 2? If so do you remember the mission where you travel around through time?
