It had a unique and fun mechanic
I remember, there was this one x10 server I used to frequent. Now I say x10, but generally the guns did whatever the fuck the admins wanted. This was usually pretty tame, but the panic attack literally turned into the "OP WALL OF BULLETS" gun. Pyro + Powerjack&Panic attack was literally gambreaking. I stopped playing on that server after jungle inferno. Wonder what happened.

The current panic attack is strong AF though, with pyro its almost as good as reserve shooter was.

It deserved a nerf but they went too far. Ease up on the damage falloff a little and make it minicrit after a certain range.

It could work if you reloaded it by pulling out the drum and putting in a new one, but I don't know what kind of kraut technosorcery you'd need to pull to reload the drum by loading shells into the tube conventionally. Then again, this is a game where a wrapping paper roll can kill someone, so.

you could get far more results out of just playing Gunboats Soldier and rocket jumping around, or playing stock Scout.
dead ringer might have made you technically unkillable, but in practice spending long periods of time running around invisible not attacking and not being at the objective is the same as being dead.

tf2 isn't that sort of game, it's infinitely more valuable to outright kill someone than to have one person MAYBE chasing you for a minute. Nobody with a brain is going to follow you, they'll just let you dick around invisible while you accomplish nothing. Stupid players might follow you, but even so you could have just killed them as Soldier and then instantly moved onto killing someone else.

I'm guessing the pump extracts a shell from the drum in to the chamber, Problem is you would need a full tube of shells for it to work

First I'd like to buff the syringe guns. I don't think the Crossbow it overpowered, but the rest are all shit.
They should be faster, as 1200 HU/s, exactly half the Crossbow's speed. Then they should reload when not active, and for every four hits, you'd get 1% of Uber. This would also apply to the Crossbow, but wouldn't be very useful on it. Then make them proper projectiles, so they could be reflected. Also make the bolt from the Crossbow bigger, so it's easier to reflect.
Then I have three ideas for primaries. Also have buff ideas, but those are less important.
Back when they wanted grenades in the game, they had Medic's be a healing grenade, so bring that back. When thrown, it'll spread, similar to the gas from the Gaspasser, for 5 seconds. It'll heal everyone in it and reduce the healing of any enemies who are made wet by it. Give it a thirty second recharge, which is really what the Gaspasser should have, too.
Then add a new status effect, poison, and give both Medic and Spy weapons for it, just because it fits both of them thematically. I'm not sure of the effects really should be, but it could halve the damage output of any infected by it, and the timer could be based upon the infection method. Additionally, any enemy who dies while infected would infect any close teammates with the rest of their timer.
So then give Medic a syringe gun which inflicts poison, but has a quarter (Or half, if a quarter's too bad) of the regular syringe gun's clip. On being hit by a second syringe shortly after being hit by a first one, they'll be infected for two seconds. Each additional syringe adds another second, with no upward cap.

I love The Classic and Apoco-Fists for the sole fact that they gib on kill. It's satisfying as fuck and makes me wish TF2 used classic gib mechanics instead of making them exclusive to explosive damage.
I miss how backstabbing in TFC gibbed players. I want Spy to get a TFC knife reskin that gibs on backstab, complete with that classic GldSrc "crunch" gib sound effect.

The Mercy Killer should have a gimmick where it does more to those who are lower on health. Just more damage would be boring, and it's a laser weapon, so here's my idea.
Has the standard laser stats, goes through enemies, 80% penalty to buildings, has no ammo, etc. Does not reload when not active, and has a slow reloading crank, each crank reloading either 4 or 10, depending upon how good the rest of it is. Each laser fizzles out after traveling a certain range. But they will seek enemies. On being shot, they;ll calculate, based upon how injured he is, with 80% being no seeking, and for every 10% above that, including overheal, it would turn 5% more away from him, to avoid hitting him. It could still hit him, if he runs into it, or hit anyone next to him. But for every 10% below 80%, it would seek him 5% more, so it would turn towards him.
I don't really know about the stats, but I like the idea, especially for something called the Mercy Killer.
Then the anti-Deathray could shoot a laser straight out, and at a length slightly longer than stock can reach, would explode into sparks. Each spark would heal allies, but not provide overheal. Hitting an ally with the laser itself would heal normally, but it wouldn't go through them. Uber would give it limitless range, the ability to penetrate allies and enemies, and would generate sparks all along the length of it. You could activate Uber with any amount of charge, and deactivate it with another right click.
Then I really want a defibrillator melee, so here's an idea for one. on M1, it won't swing, it'll be held out and deal continuous, but weak, damage. Holding it out would drain a charge meter. Could press M2 on allies at full charge to consume the entire meter and grant them minicrits for 3 seconds. Taunting would use it on yourself, giving you minicrits for 3 seconds. No random crits.
I like how this would work with M1, but I don't know about that M2. Being what it is, it should have some effect on allies, but minicrits might not be the best one.

I just think it should have some effect on enemies, but not a powerful one. It should at least make them wet for the Neon Annihilator's sake.
