I think the hardest part about it for me is the places still technically exist, but the community and relevancy just isn't there anymore.

Kankolle's popularity barely lasted a couple years, while FGO is just gacha trash that I see it having a lot of art, but not the level of music Touhou churns at all. Helps also that unlike FGO, Touhou is not a money machine made to drain people's pockets.
