-some things cant even be bought with coins

+cooler sound effect
+can hold as many as i want whilst getting 2 extra lives once reaching 100 or 200 rings
+will take damage for me if im holding any
-they go away after each act or level
-if i get hit, i lose them all and will probably pick up 10 or so at best
