Is there any good Sonic game besides 1, 2, 3K and Mania?
Is there any good Sonic game besides 1, 2, 3K and Mania?
>Plenty of games from thatr era, such as Super Mario 64, have equally bad or even worse Cameras. It's undoubtedly a flaw, but it doesn't ruin the game, people only hold it against SA1/2 in particular because it's hip to shit o sonic
No way, it's TOO bad, it goes crazy and all over place, specially in boss battles.
>Are mostly fine. . Wild Canyon, Dry Lagoon, Pumpkin Hill, and Meteor herd
We end up spending much, much more time in these stages than in the stages with Sonic. I spent almost 10 minutes in Pumpkin.
Jet force gemini had a much better shooting action, Banjo-Kazooie/Mario had a much better collectathon.
>Git fucking good.
le git gud memey
I finish the game. But they're TOO senstive.
Also they throw the Chao away when I just want to put them down, because it's so sensitive.
Sadly, I don't think so.
Unleashed
I enjoyed Sonic Rush when I played that, but I haven't touched it in years
Riders
Advance 1-3
Battle
Rush/adventure
That's about it though
Advance 1,2,3, Battle, Colors.
>he didn't play spinball
>Advance 1 and 3
>Battle
>Adventure
>Rush and Rush Adventure
>CD
3K isn't good.
>spinball
>good
fuck you I thought it was fun
It was trash user.
Advanced series
Rush
Unleashed if you get a 100% savefile and do the day stages
Adventure 2
Heroes but just do team sonic/chaotix
Colours
Generations
Riders:Zero gravity
It is, ignore him.
Pinball levels and gimmicks have always been integrated in pieces in Sonic, a game built around it proper was due and worked well, better than some later iterations even.
Sonic CD 360 version
Is it the Taxman version?
Sonic Triple Trouble
Tails Adventure
Sonic CD
Sonic Adventure 1
Sonic Adventure 2
Sonic Colors Wii
Sonic Colors DS
Sonic Generations
Sonic Advance Trilogy
Sonic Rush Duology
Sonic Battle
Sonic All Stars Racing
Sonic All Stars Racing Transformed
yep
But Battle is bad anons.
Othwr than thise you lisyed: Sonic advance 1, 2 and 3, Sonic pocket adventure and maybe Sonic CD.
The rest are trash
The problem was the artstyle. It's really ugly, if it was like 2/3 it would've been great.
>Adventure 2
It isn't though.
Bad camera
Knuckles and Rouge stages.
Eggman and Tails stages.
It's really hard to control Sonic since he's too sensitive.
Chao garden is cool but has a lot of QoL problems.
Two of those don't even mention the adventure series you retard.
>Different strengths, weaknesses and fighting styles per character
>Simple but influencing stages pace the fights, few gimmicks or overly complicated elements to get in the way
>Plus a custom attack, movement and behavior fighter of your own build
That's gonna be a Nah from me dawg.
It's by no means perfectly balanced or a great fighting game, but it's more work for a portable Sonic fighting spinoff than you'd expect. Looking at how Fighters, Heroes and Rivals approached 1v1 and group fighting you can see it's night and day.
I believe they're talking about Adventure 2 Battle.
SA1
SA2
Advance 1
Battle
Riders
Riders Zero Gravity
Unleashed
Generations
the All-Star games
are you the same WWfag who was saying yesterday that Heores was the only good Sonic game
SA1 - Bad
SA2 - Bad
Advance 1 - Okay
Battle - Okay
Riders - Bad
Riders Zero Gravity - Bad
Unleashed - Bad, but the quality went up
Generations - Okay
the All-Star games - Bad
I changed my opinion, but you didn't read the rest of the topic, apparently.
No
Robo Blast 2 if you count fangames
>he actually is the same guy
Sorry, not valuing the opinions of someone who hasn't played a game for 12 years but proclaims it best in the series before he starts talking shit the next day
>He's actually the same that got triggered by that TWW image
Sorry, not valuing the opinions of someone who hasn't played a game for 12 years but proclaims it worst in the series before he starts talking shit the next day
Sonic R is great. Or would be, if it wasn't so short.
I'm actually one of the people who gave you a list of reasons why Heroes is shit only for you to go "hmm" a couple of times and then resurface with your shit opinions a day later
Let's be honest, the soundtrack carries a lot of that game.
No, I didn't, I said I agree.
>He really likes adventure 2
Adventure 2 is a really bad game. It was bad even for the time.
>It was bad even for the time
Classicfags are retarded
>this series sucks now because Sonic has green eyes
cry me a river
I didn't say anything about adventure 2 in this thread
All the Dreamcast/Gamecube era 3D Sonics range from good-to-great (Adventure 1/2, Heroes, and Shadow).
Advance 1-3 are all great. Rush on DS is pretty decent as well.
>He believes the media
>he trusts ecelebs on youtube
CD
Colors
Unleashed half of the time
Other than that, I mean not really.
>It was bad as long as you ignore all the people who liked the game
Nice amy
Advance Trilogy was a good follow up to the classics until Mania came about.
Must implant seed in Cream the Cunny Bunny
The point of the image is to prove that it clearly wasnt bad for the time if the majority of critics and fans liked it at the time. You can even check user reviews around the year of release, they also loved the game.
Chao garden
>the All-Star games
>implying Racing Transformed which is the best racing game of all time, is bad
Classicfags should be gassed
Liked the game when you were a kid.
Try to replay it. I liked Heroes, I can't play it now. Heroes and adventure 1/2 are equaly bad.
Mario Kart is much better.
I'd say there's a few.
Rush is fun, but some of the stages are definitely a bit shit, and Sonic's handling is literally Sonic 4-tier (because they went and used the Rush handling model for S4). Boost and tricks let you ignore the fact that Sonic doesn't keep momentum properly.
Advance 1 is rock solid. It's a bit bland, but it's just a perfectly competent 2D Sonic game with none of the weird collision issues in the Genesis games.
Rush Adventure has decent levels and somewhat fun bosses. Shame about that sailing gimmick.
Generations is mostly good. Classic Sonic handles like fucking ass though.
Colors is pretty good too -- gimmicky at times, but that's the worst thing I have to say about it.
wanted to say good things about Advance 2 and 3 but those games have retarded stages
Advance 2 is "hold right, and then do this thing over a pit, hope you don't die since the only checkpoint is in the middle of the stage and we're almost at the end."
Advance 3 tries to do more platforming, but there's a ton of actual bottomless pits, Sonic handles really oddly, and it's all a bit of a mess.
Real shame, because they have amazing presentation. Everything except the actual meat of the game is impressive.
it's mega fucking jank
not terrible though
I remember reading an interview about the team at STI that did it. They had like one guy who came from Sonic Team when Naka left who really, really understood how Sonic graphics looked, and the rest of the artists were just kinda floundering a bit.
SRB2 controls like ass. It's very impressive otherwise.
I mean, the Advance games were pretty alright.
>Advance 1
Yeah, it was not bad. But it went TOO fast though.
In old Sanic games you could only get that fast if you were good at the game. In advanced we take it for granted.
Colors should've used the Chaos though, it makes no sense to me up until this day for them to have created that Wisps things.
Really. Chaos are much more cute and versatile. I love the Chaos.
>I remember reading an interview about the team at STI that did it. They had like one guy who came from Sonic Team when Naka left who really, really understood how Sonic graphics looked, and the rest of the artists were just kinda floundering a bit.
Interesting. Sonic was made for Spinball games.
Who's this artist? The render is pretty good.
Imagine a Spinball game by Zen Studios.
>no mean bean machine
real pleb hours
