What the fuck is it about this shitty fucking map that attracts people? Why did it replace other, better community made maps?

Easy to run for third worlders
It chugs my 1050 TI, though.

Plebs want a mindless deathmatch. They don't appreciate a map that encourages strategy or teamwork.
cp_orange
crits only
final destination
People didn't play ctf_convoy or cp_toy_fort for teamwork or strategy either.
This, oh I've spent way too much time on that shitty map
There were far more sniperfags than you think back then, this map was basically where they went when they couldn't deal with the harassment of every other class
there's just something about shit tf2 maps that lead to them to that, while good maps wither on the vine
Fuck off, reddit faggots.

I dunno man I've always liked it.
Simplicity is good sometimes
yeah what is it about this shitty fucking map that attracts people
Yes, but maps like ctf_vikings are a hundred times better. Fuck, even mario_kart is more fun than orange
TFC and FF's 2fort is way fucking better, still don't understand how they fucked it so much.

Fuck that looked really cool, wish I could ask for a link.
I know that map from gmod and cs
this
no other TF2 map has ever come close to the greatness of mandrill maze
I wasted so much of my teenage life playing shitty game modes like balloon race and zombie fortress
Got a link?
>going spy and sneaking over to the opposite side of the map without being seen to repeatedly backstab the opposing teams 2 snipers
he probably used roy_the_ship as a template
that's all I know
Habbo and mario kart are the best custom stages
>going spy and sneaking over to the opposite side of the map without being seen equipped with CnD, Spycicle and Ambassador (pre-nerf) and popping headshots only to hide soon after
Shit was fun, especially when someone went rage-Pyro but that's what Spycicle was for.
It wasn't popular when i played ten years ago. I never saw it myself. But that was a DoD:S map first, orange maps were really popular in that game.
Aren't 50's the budget cards?
Good map if you've got a good team vs a good team. It's only a stalemate if you're pubbing with a bunch of 12 year old shitters who all want to be snipers and spies.
>crits only
that star_ video where they realize that reflecting a crocket makes it homing was a game changer for how I player orange with friends.
care to explain why you're browsing r/tf2 in the first place?
Is there a better map for practicing speedshots than orange, outside of dedicated jump maps?
