If you find an ancient seed, give it to gunther for the ancient seed recipe. Plant that seed either in your greenhouse, or at the start of spring. Once you get a fruit, turn it into seeds with the seedmaker. If youre lucky, you get 3. Keep planting what you get untill your greenhouse is full. At that point you can turn any new fruits into wine, or sell them outright. Wine makes even more money.

All of this takes time of course, but at the end youre swimming in money.
Alternatively, buy a coffee bean from the cart. Each plant yields several new beans every few days. Before you know it your whole field is coffee. They don't sell for much by themselves, but you will have hundreds of beans every few days.

yeah forgot to mention that i made easy bank by saving up those ancient seeds. get a seed maker so every time you grow an ancient fruit, stick it in the seed maker and keep multiplying how much you have, then when you have a greenhouse, plant as many as you can in the greenhouse and then they'll be in season all year long and you'll have a constant flow of pretty damn good money. pretty sure those fruit are the second most valuable crops in the game, and they continue to grow after they're harvested, so if you put them in the greenhouse you'll have an infinite amount and you'll never have to plant them again

Aside from more dialogue and fleshed out characters in general, what this game needs is to acknowledge the passage of time past year 2. I want to see villagers leaving and new ones entering town, I want to see Lewis eventually retiring, I want to see Vincent and Jas growing up and so on.

I've tried this out a bit so far, its not as big as you think it is. There's a few new areas sure, but they're pretty much one and done as there isn't anything to do in them. The mod looks to add some new NPCs, but the seemingly setup backstory for some of them (There's some orphaned girl whose parents were murdered and she inherited their large winery or some Shane clone in the woods) sounds really edgy so far.
There is also blatant undertale references and it personally gets on my nerves because it feels so out of place, but that might just be me.

How integral is the actual farming and building?

you really don't have to 'build' much like Minecraft, moreso customizing the little plot of land you get by having a character construct buildings onto it.
The game is pretty open ended in how to get money, farming is of course the primary option but you can focus on other methods of income like fishing or mining if you so choose while your crops are growing.

Its a farming simulator - you use the money to do other things to help you make even more money, like making buildings, buying more crops and animals, upgrading your house or buildings, that sorta thing.
There's no 'ending' or finish, it goes on forever. The closest thing to a 'main objective' is regards an abandoned building that you can choose to restore overtime or have it be replaced by a corporate warehouse, but both lead to the same result of having more things to do.

If you get it on PC, there is practically going to be infinite content because the game has a pretty healthy population of mods (that are incredibly easy to install) that add more crops, buildings, areas, dungeons, etc as well as expand a lot of the character dialogue. So if you get back into it after a while, you see what mods have been trending recently and see how it goes.

graveyard keeper grinding is too fucking strong. I like a good time sink but that game fucking pushes it. So many little time gates too that just add up over time

It took me a while too and I only discovered the function by mistake. I'm pretty sure there's nothing in the game that tells you how it works. I understand it works like that in Harvest Moon but really the game should mention it somewhere once.

How could you still play until the half of second year? By the second year i have nothing to do, i'm already married, tons of emone by have tons of iridium sprinklers and the comunity center complete. I just wish a post endgame, or more campaign.

Maybe with the Joja out the town, the manager could start a farm and be your rival (using all the scummy stuff joja could come up), or with the community center finished the town would have a bigger influx of tourists and we could open a hotel or a restaurant (or both).

Out of the 6 bachelors, 3 have a steady job (Harvey, Shane, Sebastian) and out of the 6 bachelorettes, 1 has a steady job (Emily). Penny gets some points for being a good girl, she tutors the children, but she is not an officially accredited teacher and it's unclear whether she gets paid. The red-head worker at Joja isn't penny, it is another mysterious red-head and apparently lives inside the building(?), she might have been Penny during development and something was changed or lost during the game's development.

What's your secret? I wish I could enjoy it, but I can't. It's shit. The building is fun, but there's no fucking point since no planet has anything you'd ever want to go back to. Movement feels bad. The map generation is boring. I've never bothered finishing the story, but the start sure isn't the least bit interesting.
