Maru winning 4 GSLs in a row makes Blizzard think Terran is fine as is, meanwhile every Terran not named Maru is usually getting raped by Protoss. In TvP, the Terran is usually fucked if it goes to late game since Protoss has a certain composition of units that out-range and zone out the things Terran needs to combat it. In the early to midgame, it comes down to the fact that Protoss has a lot of high value units that require little micro to use, but the Terran has to micro like crazy against or else risk losing their entire army in one click.

There's a reason that all the great SC2 Terrans eventually have their wrists explode. Hell, you can tell Mvp was one of the greatest Terrans because his arms shattered all the way up to the shoulder.
