Geez, I bought this game on Wii. But to be honest, I'm kinda actually excited. I remember how years and years rolled on, everyone was waiting for the fabled "moon chapter" to come out and it never did. I'm kinda shocked and happy they're finally adding in atleast something new. I also haven't played the game since then, so I won't mind playing through it again. Fun lil' game, it was.

It's worth noting that World of Goo is on GOG and mobile. For that matter it's sold DRM free on the developer website. Even if Gabler has something against Steam it is a major dick move withholding an update so many people have wanted for so long. Really disappointed to see this guy buying in to the whole exclusives fad.

It was one of the pre-greenlight indie games when getting on steam was very difficult but pretty much guaranteed you a lot of sales.

Sounds like they're keeping the art style, just trying to make them higher res. They're using upscale filters but hand touching them up afterward. I'd say we'd have to wait and see if it's shit, since while it's faithful, if not handled correctly it'll just look like emulation filters.
