The worst thing about the state of Guild Wars today is that GW1 is forever stuck in EotN mode. I want to go back and relive the Prophecies and Factions metas. Fuck, boonprot healing and pre-nerf gale hammer/shock axe warriors were fun as hell. Pre-nerf shadow form, Alliance Battles, active Aspenwood queues. I want to play it again.

Fuck, my first time in FoW was with a random group. We had a couple of mesmer/necros who fast-cast spammed self-sacrifice spells until they died while me and the other monk rezzed them repeatedly and the necro raised a shit ton of minions. Then we just ran around spamming aoe heals on them while they destroyed the entire zone. What a fantastic game.

Long answer: The world is huge but void of creativity. No sense of urgency or excitement in any explorable regions. There are lots of NPCs walking about, but none of them have characters or relevance. The story is lame and predictable, often filled to the brim with contradictions with previous lore. Player base is ever shrinking, consist only of ERP fashion fags or furfag OC donutsteels. A waste of time.
