>blocks your path
Blocks your path
More like
>rushes that one path down and one-shots you
>blocks your spear
The only good "surely he can't be that hard" moment in the series
I recently went back to replay Demon's Souls thinking I was hot shit after platinum-ing all 5 soulsborne games and saw this guy and went "he's probably piss easy to me now" and he still nearly fucked me up.
>DaS2 is the only Souls game with bullshit ganks
>Riposte
you can see those guys from like a mile away
>not training for the dragon by shooting them one at a time with a bow until their aggro reset
It's like you didn't even play the game right
My PC can finally emulate it, not sure if it's the nostalgia but the game is truly one of my favorites
So what? They agro as a group. One red eye spear knight is pain in the ass enough but three at once is bullshit. This fight is 99% backing the fuck away and waiting for RNG. The only thing worse is the island with four giant depraved ones.
PLEASE, HELP ME
Can someone explain to me why sometime my character is pushing back the ennemy (like "stay right there") instead of attacking it? I keep spamming r1 btw.
what cpu do you have?
I don't know what the fuck it is about Demon's Souls that makes it feel like a completely and entirely different thing from Dark Souls. I think it has to do with the way the game tells its story from the start, and the atmosphere. It's very quiet, kind of eerie and mysterious. I can't quite tell you what it is, but I didn't feel the same in the other Souls games. Dark Souls 1 was close to that magic but it was in a different way, felt more like a normal dark fantasy medieval setting. 2 and 3 can fuck off, though. Bloodborne captures that feeling but again, in a different way.
forward move+R1 is bash for most weapons. It's good for breaking block.
I should replay Demon's Souls at some point.
Left stick + R1 = push attack. Like the kick in DaS.
des fucking sucks fag
Thanks didn't know about that since i only played BB before. It kept annoying me.
What's the point of push attack btw? It feels pretty useless in pve (i'm at the beginning of the game, just beat the "OH OH OH OH OH"-giant knight.

> tfw jumped in during dark souls even though I had the chance to get demon souls when the game game first came out.
What's the opposite of buyers remorse?
>What's the point of push attack btw?
Not much point really. It staggers most enemies interrupting attacks and breaking guards but that doesn't really help you as much as you might think. Usually you are better off just attacking regularly.
Cool pleb opinion homo
Those loading screens are forever ingrained in my mind
>thought big bloody sword was the most broken thing in the game
>did the highest damage of any weapon in any souls game with normal slashes but was slow af
>get Moonlight GS last run I did
>decent speed, great damage, consider that Doran might be possible to kill this time around
>kill the fucker in like 3 tries
Feels good, I'm a couple of bosses away to have fought every boss and miniboss in the series except for most of the ones on chalice dungeons, fuck that boring ass shit dungeon
