>mid layer block that blocks the canvas from view (so you can't see what's on the canvas in the preview or immediately after starting the stage) but moves out the way shortly after the stage starts (possibly timed to coincide with music)
put Avengers Endgame spoilers or some other griefy to normies spoilers/text or imagery on back layer so shortly after the stage starts the mid layer block drops to reveal the surprise to the unwitting victims

Here's my shitty stage, it was originally meant to be a rocket slime stage with two slime tanks firing at each other, but I hit the weight limit so I had to make them castles. The middle platform slowly falls down so you'll have to stay on the stuff fired by the castles to stay in the air. Also you can't land on the castles.

Reminder that you can make pieces of your stage not have grabbable ledges as well as hide rails with the edit tool. So many cool stages are ruined by shit like platforms having grabbable ledges that you snap to all the time.

This mode is really limited and frustrating to use, did the best I could in an hour and a half. Had to make the lower platform smaller because of issues when recovering, not entirely sure it got fixed but I don't want to keep re-uploading the same thing.
