Here's a funfact. Who gives a fuck about emulation. These things can handle older consoles fine. Only full on autismos that buy fucking framemiesters and OSSC and spend 400 virgin neetbucks to load up Mario and say yep these were the days.

PSclassic is 30 dollars. Comes with two controllers. Drag and drop and is almost as good as a Pi with no real fuckery. No complications. I'd say it's a pretty sweet deal.

I have a Pi and setting it up everytime is a fucking chore. Even doing simple stuff on it is a fucking pain. Sure it's literally just read and type this stuff in. It ain't drag and drop easy.

I got a wii, but I think the PsC can do it better. Plus using the wii, you have to use batteries and a pro controller. It works well. But booting to USBlauncher and then booting into a specific emulator.

Or just use PSC and go right into retroarch and boom pick a game.

Really thinking about getting a fucking nvidia shield and just be done with it. That looks like the best emulation box all in one.

ps classic is legit the best thing to buy for retro emulation at that price. it competes with raspberry pi while including decent controllers. pretty great at ≤$40.
i have a pi, hacked 3ds, hacked wii u, and hacked wii but still bought a snes classic. heres why:
>faster ui with more features compared to hacked consoles, and much better looking and flowing ui than anything the pi currently offers.
>plugs into tv unlike 3ds
>quality controllers. i wouldve spent $40 on lesser quality shit if i didnt pick up this platform
>nicer shell than anything that could just be 3d printed for cheap
>controller port allows me to plug in wii classic controller, which is the best controller of all time
>less effort to modify than raspberry pi
i dont use the pi or hacked wii anymore. gave them to family. i use the 3ds for portable shit, the wii u for wii u, wii, and gamecube games, and snes classic for retro stuff. kinda mad i didnt wait until ps classic got this cheap and ended up getting a snes classic for slightly less than mrsp.

Got this little beast for 45 bucks with a controller and the hdmi-cable.
It's a very nice little mini console. But having no battery is very odd.
