Early on in dev, they released a cinematic that had the redesign and got torn apart for it.

Remember when enemies didn't do contact damage so fighting was slightly less shitty? Sure, you could stomp some of them as a result, but it was better than constantly being knocked off shit by those small or hidden enemies, or just being constantly charged. That was the worst 'bug' fix I have ever seen to date

Does Frackin Universe fix the shit they removed from the game in subsequent updates? I might actually consider buying the game if so, since I can't wait enough for the final Terraria update.

It's more of a jury rigging than a complete restoration. The game is still railroad-y and and few variety but it's a bit more tolerable with FU.

What does Starbound have to offer over Terraria? Especially if I played the latter to hell and back.
