Every game is a dice role and that is half the charm.

Yes, it's the PreCure of video games. Shalie is the best Atelier game & one of the 5 best PS3 Games period

Some are.

I want Mimi's ass on my face

I'd say a good deal of them are. I hated the Mysterious games so I'm on break from the franchise though.

they're incredibly boring

Some of them are fantastic, but at worst they're passable. Also seems like they're produced with a $40 budget so they churn 'em out yearly.

Tecmo has 60 Billion dollars, It's fucking stupid that they don't give the Atelier devs a COD sized Budget for every new yearly game.

iris2 is the only good atelier game, unless you count mana khemia. you can't even say "the iris series was good and the rest suck", because iris1 and 3 also suck. how it has survived as a series when it only has 1 good game (or 3 if you count MK) is beyond me, over the years I have played them simply because I feel like -something- must have changed for the series to have not died, and every time I have been wrong, so I haven't played any of them past escha&logy.

knowing there's cute panty shots in these games has made it an issues in my life to restraining from buying them just to oogle at loli butts.

thanx user, i can take it back off my steam wishlist for a day.

What genre is this series?

>The best Atelier game
>Atelier Shalie
That's an extremely weird way of saying Atelier Sophie. Atelier Sophie is a casual experience, while also being hardcore. For the longest time, anyone can dominate, but that final 15% of the game requires top level quality and traits in order to make it.

The Atelier series is the most popular female JRPGs for females.

Is Nelke any good? Where do I pirate it?

>Sophiefags think Sophie ever gets hard at any point
Truly spoken like a pleb that hasn't cleared Makina Domain.

I buy them cause I love the artist's work

They are pretty mediocre but they are alright if you are feeling like playing a cute girls do cute things story instead of watching an anime

They’re extreme comfy and the crafting system soothes my rampant autism. I like them.

YIKES

How's the lastest one? The combat screenshot reminded me of Mana Khemia, a good game that gust shank for some reason

It's an easier cute jrpg for girls.

that's the series they used to try to get into the straight dude market, but I'm guessing they ended up just attracting more girls. Probably realized that they already had the most dudes that they can get and they're just staying quiet while the lesbians generated all of the noise.

which one, lulua? are we looking at the same game? Mana Khemia was top quality spritework with a shitload of detail into the attack animations and monsters, lulua looks to me like every 3D atelier that has been copy/pasted together and formed into a game in 20 minutes before being sold to brainlets.

>a good game that gust shank for some reason
Because it sold like shit

Atelier had its up and down but your pic related game is a very peaceful game and the combat is kinda boring.
Which is why I bought it to play before bed for a better sleep.

Aaa sorry i got it wrong, damn so many cash grab they pushing out
I mean the spin off Nelke

I want one on Switch, what's the best one available for that?

Is this porn? Please tell me it is

You'd be gay if you didn't.

The series varies in quality: some of the games are quite good, while others are unremarkable. It kind of seems like Gust alternates between making good Atelier entries for their fanbase, and making generic JRPG entries in the hopes of attracting the Final Fantasy/Dragon Quest audience.

No, it's Kiss La Kiss by Speedosausage, he does a bit of porn.

Is Iris 2 really good? I loved MK but Iris 1 bored me to death so I hasn't tried the rest of them.
