Can Astral Chain avoid W101's fate?

It's crazy how this came out of nowhere and is now my most hyped game of the year.

That said I do have a few worries.

No way does it look as good as the trailer on Switch. Switch is a neat console, but its power has consistently disappointed. It'll either look like the trailer and be 30FPS or look worse to get the 60.

The combos look less like Bayonetta freestyle and more like Nier Automata cookie cutter stuff. I was pretty disappointed with the combat in Nier, so to see the guy who helped direct Nier is the lead on this one is a bit of a blow

2 1/2 years of development doesn't seem like a lot these days, especially with Platinum spread so thin.

Other than that I'm excited. The trailer blew me the fuck away. Can't wait for more info at E3.

We don't really know much stuff aside a trailer and nearly 3 years of development is quite big time.

W101 looked much more interesting and I assume it will be better game than this too. Just looking at characters having similar clothes and shit police theme I know it will turn into total garbage. Glad nintendo middled and made w101 more colorful than the concept art but wouldn't mind a gory sequal for 101 that looks like the original concept too.
