You're talking about different things, the large hands/feet isn't a design choice to make the characters ugly like the bodies in MK11. It's just a problem with keeping the same silhouettes for characters from 2D to 3D which Capcom's artists apparently haven't figured out. SFV is more fanservice-y than any prior SF game.
