>level up the LUCK stat in a game
>the LUCK stat is just filler and doesn’t do jack shit
Level up the LUCK stat in a game
>game has a LUCK stat
>it's never explained yet is very important
What games do this?
>luck stat absolutely breaks the game for being too overpowered
>playing EarthBound above the age of 14
Drop JRPGs. They're a waste of time.
>luck scaling maxes out at 7 and goes down again
>luck turns negative at level 13
Name one
every fallout game to ever exist
>not making out your HP like a true patrician
You asked for it, Doug.
luck doesnt do shit in any fallout except when gambling in NV and looking for special encounters in 1 & 2. Fuck are you talking about?
What happened?
What should luck do?
>higher crit chance
>rare items show up in shops
>girls want to mate with you
>Nu douge has been around longer than old douge
>Potentially broken ability made mundane by all but one of the characters having low luck
>companion tells you to not do The Supervillain Shuffle
>does The Supervillain Shuffle
>Game has a swimming skill
Morrowind arguably. Luck affects nearly every action in the game and aspect of combat. Though to be fair by the time you get it to a point where it starts to do a lot your already probably powerful enough to do almost anything in the game. Still it should always be taken upon leveling and it just makes your character slowly better at everything as you level up.
all of those and more
Shin Megami Tensei I and II. It not only is the sole stat to protect against instadeath spells, but it adds to your base chance to Dodge all other attacks as well. Furthermore, the games are balanced around the player mainly using guns and melee weapons being very rare artifacts that drop from monsters, by midgame outclassing anything you can find in stores by a disgusting margin, since equipment is more important than stats outside of your hp number having the higher droprate eventually leads to the player curbstomping everything with a bottomless supply of restoration items.
>the sniper perk in fo1 and 2
>gives you all the money you need in nv
>absolutely outclasses any dps perk in fo4
>that one squadmate in tactics with 10 luck and becomes permanent once you add him
Luck is the most broken and fun stat in the series.
>Agility/sanctuary/luck dodge builds
God I fucking love Morrowind.
Armsthrift is still an amazing skill though, especially for a non-promoted class. One of my favorites. And with limit breaker, you can get luck over 50, which guarantees that weapons will never break.
Imagine being so mentally handicapped you actually watch doge walker screeching and gesturing and enjoy it.
