XIII REMAKE

Where were you when they teased the fucking XIII remake out of the blue? I have fond memories of playing multiplayer via lan with my brother at small time lan parties.

I hope they keep the old soundtrack or get Jasper Kyd to do the new one

Solid game. One of the few FPSes with tolerable force stealth sections or forced escort missions. Weapons felt nice (despite there being very few of them) and the graphics haven't aged a day since they were trying to look like a comic book and that's exactly what they look like.

What are your wishes/expectations/fears?

Dlc is my expectation and fear

This

Might as well be a remaster

Duchovny best be back.

All they need to do is increase the FOV and change the internal resolution to something modern and you're golden.

It probably will be. Which means it actually has a chance of being good.

it was a good console shooter before, i hope they remember that

nigga, it was a PC game

they ported it to consoles

i'm not a nigger

You mean we actually might get an in-game ending that's not a cliffhanger?

Mein gott, I didn't think this day might come

I finished this game back on og xbox but dont remember much. Getting old sucks

based. i loved this game back in the day.

i hope this doesn't have a shitty capped framerate on pc. also the remaster should be 60 fps across both xbox and ps4. switch version will probably have to settle for 30 fps.

>Of all the games to get a remake, it's XIII
I don't think anyone asked for a remake of this but goddamn am I glad it happened

That's why it caught me off guard. I love this game but I rarely hear anyone ever talk about it.

This exactly.

Same

>remake and not a sequel
Why? Who wanted this?

>ALEEERT

No one. But given how little anyone (other than id) understands old school FPSes, a remake will probably end up being better than a sequel would have.
