Joker is really weird. The whole concept is that he's essentially two different characters that are divided for two distinct roles with one being a great rushdown that has trouble KO'ing and the other a heavyhitter that has to do the actual kill.

It's honestly really hard to gauge where do fuck he would go. Maybe his combo potential is so good that it offsets the lack of kill confirms and he becomes the new Smash 4 Sheik and totally breaks the game or maybe he's too lightweight and heavyweights can counter him so hard he's relegated strictly to middle of the road.

Either way, he's the very least better then current Skeik so he's not exactly low tier.

If he isn't even at 1m GSP he's definitely not ready to learn that, he should probably focus on mixing up his recovery, improving his neutral and working on his ledge trapping game. But it would help to know who he mains first.

how do you do Joker's wavedash thing with his neutral special? I know you're supposed to hold B to get the dodge, but I'm unsure on the timing for it to do the weird wavedash.

I’ll never understand taunt parties. Dumb fun shit like playing tag with Snake’s C4 I get but what’s so fun about making the same poses for 8 minutes?

The good news is that your character has extremely strong neutral. Lasers pretty much ensure they have to approach you or else they'll sit there and take a fuckton of damage, and your reflector means you don't have to worry about their projectiles. You're also fast as fuck and can rack up damage really fast. The bad news is that your character is piss easy to gimp so you're going to have to be very careful about mixing up your recovery. Are you getting killed trying to side B to the stage every time? If this is happening then mix in some low recoveries and also mix up how you get back on the ledge. Don't go for one option every time or else they're gonna download you and fuck you up. Don't bumrush through neutral to try and start your tryhard combos because that's not going to work. I hope some of that helps. You can always watch Light to get a feel for how a top Fox plays.

You have time the initial neutral b such that whenever you dodge forward or back your are almost touching the ground. Once you do that you go a far distance. Keep in mind that when you have Arsene out you fire 3 bullets so there is a longer duration before you dash and therefore the timing is different.

Sorry for bein a bit late, but isn’t me. Roy, I also started learning Joker because he looks fun and Persona 5 is one of my favorite games of all time.

I don't know what to say about Roy. He's a sword character but I don't know how to play him compared to the others. If nothing else my advice stands about making sure you're not recovering and getting back on stage the same way every time. Even though you have a sword don't think you can just throw it around and skip neutral because if your spacing or timing is poor you will get punished by more experienced players. I wish I had something more for you but he's not a character I have much experience with.

Now that I think about it, WFT also got buffed decently. Really should've remembered that, she's one of my secondaries.
