Is xbox the most boring gaming platform ever? PC offers the most variety, mods, highest graphic quality and you can emulate most of the consoles, PS4 has several great exclusives like Bloodborne, Last Guardian or Gravity Rush, Switch is there for fans of portable consoles and for the few nintendo exclusives that can't be emulated.
But what does Xbox have to offer? Literally nothing. There's a reason the emulators for it are shit, there isn't even any real reason to work on them.

I got one recently to play old games that aren't properly supported on PC anymore, like KOTOR 1 and NFSU2. Those always seem to have problems with Windows 10.

t have something like Roku or a smart Tv, I guess it can be useful for Netflix, HBO Go, ad the rest of that shit. Now that I built the gaming Pc I always wanyed, it doesn't have much use for me but...whatever, I keep it around just to have it.
It had a lot of underrated games and soulful japanese exclusives that also went under the radar, also was the industry pioneer for console online which Sony and Nintendo are still inept at decades later.

It also had the best ports for 6th gen console exclusives, some of which had extra content and are forever stuck on the console because no one bothered to make an emulator for it. Xbone X is at least making the effort of bringing them back into the modern era through backwards compatibility but there's still plenty missing.

The HDD still "works" but I think it's locked to hell and back. I've ordered replacement 80 pin IDE cables and IDE/SATA adapters to see. I got a new xbox and it's softmodded, just waiting for parts to get in the mail.

I really miss that rudimentary cyber grid aesthetic that the late-90s/early-2000s were depicting for future of UI, was way more pleasing to look at than that minimalist metro iphone garbage we ended up getting.
I’d rather have friends who don’t dedicate their lives to games, thank you. It’s a fun hobby for like 2 hours a week but any more of that is pretty stupid.
PS2 was completely inferior to Xbox when it came to multiplatform games. It's rare that a multiplat plays and looks better than on the Xbox.

But ps2 had MGS 2 & 3, God Hand, FF X and XII, Shadow of the Colossus, DMC 1 and 3, Silent Hill 2 and Kingdom Hearts. Who cares if it had slightly more realistic graphics?
I mainly play single player games. With friends I'll rather play face to face, stuff like local co-ops. I do have a job, don't have any idea what that has to do with the rest.
