The problem was and always will be Epic's Exclusivity deals.
Whether they allow people to buy a Epic games store Key from another site means nothing because you are still required to download EGL, make a EGS account, and play it the game on the EGL.
Also it doesn't matter if Humble and GMG is selling the Epic keys. They aren't allowed to sell that lower than Epic's price. So it's effectively just buying from the EGS anyway so it's entirely pointless that these stores sell the keys.
