They're good in different ways. Baba's got a really good and unique puzzle game, Slugcat's got a really unique and atmospheric survival game, Knight's got an atmospheric metroidvania with tight controls, and Ori's got an aesthetic metroidvania with good platforming.

Ori is a fine platforming game. Hollow Knight has passable combat and mediocre platforming, it's still fun and worth a playthrough but people really overrate it.

Ori, it's much shorter and easily digestible. Hollow Knight is a like 20 hour long game and in my experience can be kind of a slog at times.

Make that 50-60 hours if you're a hardcore for completion. Add another 60 for Godhome all pantheons (no bindings). And, it can definitely be a slog. Sometimes backtracking can be really tiring or getting lost in some tunnel maze with tons of locked doors (CoT)

I think they all have their merits, but Rainworld is the worst. It's not bad, but it's stupid that you can't progress some times because your karma drops for no reason and you have to grind karma by eating and sleeping and not progressing.
