Can some Soulsfag explain what's the difference between those 2 clips?

One is from Sekiro and the other is not
Why are people trying to compare these games knowing full well that they're not even going to be similar besides the fact that it's feudal Japan?
Completely different gameplay looks like.
>Completely different gameplay
Yeah, one plays like dark souls and one plays like Civilization V.
one is for honor but worse
the other is sekiro the rythm game
It would be easier for you to just play more video games. Explaining it in words wouldn't do it justice.
the gameplay looks exactly same
even the animations are the same
Get your eyes checked.
Sekiro is gameplay, Ghost of bamham is X TO AWESOME
That's because the maker of the comparison is intentionally playing Sekiro similar to the Ghouls of Tsunami video.
Which is bizarre because it doesn't play like that at all. The sidestepping is basically never used against smaller opponents, and AI stopping mid combat is either modding (based off of the costume mod) or bugged.
>Both games are samurai games, that means that they're exactly the same and should be compared endlessly.
I hate stupid people.
Maybe he's just not as hypersensitive to certain elements, like you are.

its more like shills hate the fact that ghost is being compared to one of those batman games that came out a couple of years ago because the gameplay is EXACTLY the same
Required playing before you can continue this discussion:
>Devil May Cry 3
>Dark Souls
>Batman Arkham Asylum
>Shadow of Mordor
I liked what i saw and would play the game, but i gotta admit it's heavily inspired by Batman. Kek
Not him but you're retarded. It's not autism, it's experience.
In one game you play as Cousin It and the other you play as a chinaman.
you're trying really hard
The guy in the Sekiro part is using cheats, right? The spear guy's AI is fucked and his attacks just phase through the player.
It's called I-frames.
The spear guy de-aggros twice so the player can give him a deathblow.
Blocking gives you i-frames and opens up the enemy for a stealth kill now? I guess From finally added an easy mode.
The games are made to look alike in this tiny slice of footage, but if you actually watched more then this perfectly cropped and modded gameplay of Sekiro and gameplay featurette of Ghosts, you'd see how unbelievably different they are. The comparison is dishonest.
>arkham camera
into the trash it goes. When will western devs understand that 3rd person games feel like shit if the camera isnt mounted to the character
What cosmetic mod is that for sekiro
You should play it. It's easily the hardest game they've made.
Why would that incur the phrase "get your eyes checked"?
That suggests that the two slices show vastly different gaming experiences. That last thing we need around here is autism defense.
I have. The guy in the OP is clearly cheating. The AI never acts like that and standing still does not give you i-frames. He's definitely on PC since has a skin mod for Sekiro.
Holy shit, these Tsushima attack animations are ass. Someone post that article where Itsuno talks about animation.
Because they still don't look like. Even trying to move as little as possible, it's clear that the Sekiro character is far more agile, while the Ghost character inches towards opponents. Parries in Ghosts seem to cause recoil and neutral reset, in Sekiro they do not unless you've filled a posture bar. The camera is different. I mean, I can keep going. Whoever made this footage is the true autist because the game has been fucked with.
>both games happen on feudal japan and both game have katanas
>"DUDE, IT'S THE SAME, THEY EVEN HAVE THE SAME SWORD"
sword, outfit, animations and combat mechanics
Obviously haven't played Tsushima yet, but from what Ive seen its gameplay mechanics resemble much more the BamHam or AC games in that you only need to wait for enemies to begin an attack and press the "SICK FUCKIN COUNTER" button to automatically dodge and strike back. You don't seem to physically block or dodge anything
The outfit has been modded.
The gameplay has been modded.
The mechanics aren't the same period.
yeah bro the exact same outfit
this is why absolute fucking plebs shouldn't be allowed to have opinions on game design
your opinion is fucking retarded and you have no idea what the fuck youre talking about. do you even play videogames?
Nice try faggot shill, but your game blows dick and can't even get basic animation right for an E3 presentation
ai extremely passive, disabled once mid fight. hitboxes for pc seem to be disabled too. WTF are you doing you shit eating maggot.
There, Tsushima is GOTY now, am I right Soulchads?
I had a sensible chuckle, good work
>someone went through the effort to heavily mod their game just to shitpost on Yea Forums
Don't know why I find this surprising.
What the fuck is that Sekiro modded? I mean, besides the obvious model swap. The AI completely un-aggros and there's no Danger symbol when he spear thrusts.
>heavily
it's not that heavily modded, it's one file, done in two minutes.
modelswapping sekiro is surprisingly easy, getting the footage and making the webm probably took more time and effort than modding the game.
Have you played the game?
DELETE THIS
You aren't fooling anyone, stop.
based
the hud is disabled, but that is no huge accomplishment either, you see it all the time
but the monk does seem to bug out and not target the player properly, but that also occurs in an unmodded game when the lock on fucks up, some enemies completely break when you don't lock on to them, like Genichiro and Owl
One is using a character swap. The other is using the default character.
The player has no hitboxes, it has nothing to do with the monk not targeting the player OP.
then how does he parry the first guy, smartass?
>disable player hitbox
>leave parry hitbox enabled
WOW
Parrying doesn't even have anything to do with hitboxes, hitboxes refer to when the player or enemy takes damage. The OP just disabled the player hitboxes so he can't take damage.
Trainers can disable and enable cheats on the fly.
>arkham knight the player at least still has to move his joystick
>ghosts of smegma just automatically snaps to the enemies
Literally. A. Movie.
It seems OP made it to imitate the Tsushima gameplay what with fighting a sword and spear enemy and having those particular clothes modded in. Not sure why he's cheating though. I guess it's because the spear guy would take too long to take down for the comparison to work but it just ended up making the spear user more retarded than the one in the Tsushima video.
He’s cheating because if he doesn’t he has to defend himself more which looks less brain dead than Tsushima gameplay where you put your controller down and the game plays itself.
LOL
It's bait my dude
wasted all spirit emblems on literal nobodies, I hope no one takes this seriously.
I wish there was some basic requirements to post on Yea Forums, I swear to god, people posting here without having played a Zelda game, Dark Souls, DMC etc and think they can have an opinion about anything vidya.
Honestly too sad to cringe at
You're trying so hard.
nice "action" games LMAO
in clip 1
>in combat
>you have to press a direction to move to a desired direcction
>>you have to roll on a specific frame and direction
>you have to aim your attack
>you need to strafe around the enemy to get a back stab
>the enemy actually tries to attack you and kill you
in clip 2
>in combat
>you mash X to epic cool attack
>you hold Y to block
>you don't need to move because the character auto walks to the nearest enemy (notice how the camera doesnt even need to be on a confortable position for the player to react properly, instead its cinematic becasuue te player doesnt need full control of the character to win)
>the enemy doesn't attack, it only feints
>Zelda, who anyone can name right off the tounge
>Dark Souls, DMC which have both been mentioned in this thread
I see through you
>Sekiro have this
>they still want an easy mode
I DONT GET IT AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
In one, an enemy uses his spear to attack at range. In the other, an enemy uses his spear to block at close quarters.
no they arent the same and i didnt play anyone,
>wasting all those emblems when the Ashina elite is the only threat and can be stealth deathblowed from above
>not even bothering to puppet the elite so he can kill the mooks for you
>killing mooks but still cheesing the elite which is one of the best enemies in the game
I don't think they could have made this more boring.
>>the enemy actually tries to attack you and kill you
Did we watch the same clip? The second enemy in the sekiro clip literally stood still and ate attacks.
no he didnt dumbass, go watch it again
the Sony game literally goes into some ebin slow motion animation
check your eyes
