mass effect 3 original ending was fine, and the indoctrination theory was fun, until the edited ending ruined it.

Story, graphics, soundtrack, etc do not matter at all. If a game was literally the best ever at one of those, or even all of them, I would not factor it in at all in my rating. Gameplay is the only important thing in a game.

I judge games by merit, not platform exclusivity. For example I like Bloodborne but not God of War. Console wars are stupid.

My opinion is that judging games by platform is stupid. Despite the PS4 being my most used console, people think I'm a Nintendo shill for not thinking Days Gone looks good.

Roguelike games are good and fun but the oversaturation of the genre has led to disdain of any game that calls themselves that.

New Vegas is not as popular on r*ddit as you think.

i guess you never really played much of it? first time through there is lots of dialogue yes, but mgs games are known for great replayability, ng+, hard difficulties with different guard patrols and spawns and item locations. mgs2 had a skateboarding mode, an entire vr mission campaign, the snake tales campaign, euro exreme difficulty which is brutally hard, but fair. there's all the dog tags to collect, boss rush time trial. mgs3 has tons of shit too. the mgs games have best in class gameplay, that's why koji is respected. mgs1 and 2 were mindblowing at the time for the whole industry

I think tf2, even in its pathetic state is the best fps on the market. It just shows how the genre regressed

I don't think that's entirely true, though. Just take a look at Yea Forums's top games from last year. There are two (2) Movie Gear Solid games in the top 10. If Yea Forums prioritized gameplay and only gameplay, then they would prefer games like Thief I/II and early Hitman games as they have next to no cutscenes and substantially more fleshed out stealth gameplay than any MGS game. Either that or is there a comical Japanese bias on this board to the point where Japanese developers could make an Uncharted game and this board would lap it up.

league of legends is a well-made video game. lots of polish, over 100 very unique characters to play. aram mode is fun, only 20 minute games and is much less Toxic
