Name 1 game with a better evil campaign
Name 1 game with a better evil campaign
There is none. It's also the rare game where the evil ending is vastly superior to the good one.
Is it easy to pirate?
This game worth playing in these modern times? Meaning does it hold up well.
Crpg thread? Why do a LOT of people hate NWN2 like the plague? I'm trying to but so far, the game is looking and feeling alright.
Because it's a crappier game than NWN1 and NWN1 was crap by itself.
How though? You cant even control teammates in the first one
See you in a dozen hours when you've genocided half the orc population and the plot still hasn't moved an inch.
It's extremely boring and stretched out, also feel terrible to play
baldur's gate 2 with mods to fix the low reputation prices and some exp rewards
Wrong. Safiya was a dutiful wife, a loving mother, and we made The Mere a better place together in our retirement. Fag.
Wait you could mod ps2 games?
BALDUR'S GATE 2, not bg:dark alliance
Hope she enjoy the wall
I want an evil rpg so bad bros.
kotor 1 and 2
planescape torment
I can't... I loved killing gods in the most evil ending! I really miss the power...
you can be a real dick in deus ex i guess. i don't think baldur's gate series has a good evil path desu, there's a few cool moments like being able to wear the human skin armour or making deal with a demon which will piss off any paladin in your group, but most interactions and quests will just kind of end unceremoniously if you decide to murder.
Mask of the Betrayer is for the story, but the gameplay is trash. Core game and the other expansion have aged like milk.
i think the best part of being evil in BG is playing with evil characters
Act 1 is way too long. I agree with you on regards to everything else though, it picks up a lot in Act 2. Not better than SoU and HotU, definitely not better than MotB, but certainly miles above than NWN1 OC.
>evil campaign
>even close to being as good as good playthrough
I love my wife Imoen!
Infamous 2 isn't necessarily better but I heard it's fun to do
I played NWN1+2 expansions, and NWN2 base campaign and enjoyed everything
NWN1 Base campaign is a bit boring and doesn't make full use of the engine though, which is why the expansion modules blew my mind
Post a superior companion, I dare you.
Basically this. The when the story gets going, it's pretty good, and blows NWN1's base campaign out of the water, but you have to get through a LOT of filler to get there. 2 makes better use of the engine as well.
I can't. I love that adorable little bugger
Fable LC
Actually, I'd say it's about the same level as SoU and HotU.
to be fair that's a pretty low level, don't know why people pretend they're like 100 times better than the oc
Ending is really bad, though I liked it too, and didn't really care much for MotB which everyone seems to love
That's your sister
I tried that path of evil module for a couple hours and it seemed terrible
I really can not tell if you are joking or not.
1 - NWN2 AI is only knows how to swarm you with mobs (even if you are fighting against mages)
2 - GUI is Ugly as shit (NWN1 has the same problem)
3 - Character models (all of them) are ugly. Just look how weapons are designed.
4 - Story is 50% cut because Obsidian.
And many many more.
>Kobolds
>Wings
SoU and HotU pass by on originiality and some memorable moments. Mainly because the companions are unique and likeable, and you get some really cool moments. I mean, the first major boss is basically you transforming into a frost giant to kill a white dragon which is pretty damn cool. But they're also mixed in with pretty boring periods as you search for quest item #213 to advance the plot.
NWN2 remains more consistent throughout (with only the Neverwinter and Old Owl Well parts dragging on too long in Act 1), but the companions and story are incredibly cliche (dwarf fighter who likes to fight, tiefling rogue with trust issues, wood elf druid that senses an ancient evil has awakened, etc.). But it still reaches a good average in my opinion, and a good amount of the companions manages to be likeable even if they have no mystery at all to them.
>Red Dragon disciple
>Mainly because the companions are unique and likeable
I actually never bothered talking to them because of that shitty mmo like dialogue box.
God I hate that shit so much, it's one of the main reason why I can't enjoy user modules too
>that Jaheira
Netflix Baldur's Gate tv series when?
Can you do an evil playthrough on bg1/2? Haven't played those games since I was a kid, and picked both of them up recently and wanted to dive in.
>Netflix Baldur's Gate
Why would you unironically want that?
Evil choice are trash and vastly inferior in xp, gold and items
Yes, but BG1 especially was clearly intended both neutral?good playthrough. The game has less content and is harder on evil characters because less xp and money.
If you don't want to RP a retard, it is perfectly possible to have evil companions though. Even as a Paladin with another Paladin (Keldorn) in the group, I had little trouble having an otherwise evil party. And evil companion are the best in BG2. they will occasionally whine about the most goody two shoes choices but you can shut their mouths.
You can't control even a single character in this one. Seriously, half the time they'll just igore your commands and do their own unrelated thing.
I cant recommend tyranny enough
