I had a Mega Drive as a kid but I remember nothing about it except for Chakan and really wanting some shitty game called the Pagemaster.

Is it worth buying one of these to hack? I've more or less never touched the MD/Genesis' library.

It's just a regular small linux computer running a genesis emulator. There's no point in hacking it.

32x requires a much beefier CPU to emulate.
It's literally the sega saturn CPUs and a shitty video chip.

The library on the genesis mini doesn't matter.

What matters is if the piece of shit actually works this time. And if it's using it's trying to use PAL roms in a market outside of Europe again.
and if the controllers are wireless or function like a fucking TV remote.

Yes, but it's still limited by the budget of the mini aspect, unlike the PC version that well have a fucking PC under it.

Literally not a single bad game announced so far. The PS1, SNES and NES mini's had their share of shit that shouldn't have been there. Even if it's just these 20 games, and it won't be, it'll be the best mini console to date.

Shinobi III has been announced for the USA/EU version, for some reason OP posted the Japanese Lineup.

M.U.S.H.A, The HybridFront, Dyna Brothers 2 and Game no Kanzume Otokuyou are replaced with Sonic 2, Earthworm Jim, Castle of Illusion and Shinobi III in the US and EU versions.

Get the JP version then, certainly wont have it

You can literally build one of these right now instead of waiting until September, I built mine last November. The cherry on top is using either 8bitdo's M30 or Retrobit's genesis rerelease controllers.
