Fuck you I like it.

Doesn't actually look too bad.
I just really want to see the gameplay; that will determine if the remaster deserves to be praised or thrown into the trash.

>EA
Take a wild guess.

I can still completely misinterpret how it looks so I guess its ok. Also I had no idea this was a thing, assuming it's official, but I do not have any faith in it and if it's only the first then that's quite limiting.

THIS THREAD IS NOW TAKEN IN THE NAME OF RTS thread

DoA. The Starcraft remaster, which is the better game, is dead as fuck outside of Korea.

A man can dream. It's been too long since a C&C game; and after the 4th game, a remaster is most welcome; but for what you mentioned, I am very, very sceptical

>DoA. The Starcraft remaster, which is the better game, is dead as fuck outside of Korea.
Do you really think any traditional RTS game will becomone popular now? I'm specifically talking in multiplayer here, since that is what you seem to imply.

SC2 has very solid player numbers for what it is. Like a year ago some faggot crunched the numbers and figured out that it would easily be in the top 10 most played games if it was on Steam and it has only grown since then.

>remake, remaster, sequel or anything that's not nostalgic

Yea Forums: SOULLESS

And you think the majority are non-korean players that play ladder/unranked? As in don't fuck around in UMS with dumb shit? Because fucking around with dumb shit still doesn't translate to active MP playerbase.

Here, found the image, custom games aren't even included.

If the gameplay is any different, then it's a remake.
I hope it's actually just a remaster.

Uh huh, sure. Over 70 000 players playing ranked and most of them aren't korean? If you believe this you're delusional.

looks good

>41144 teams in total

Almost half a million accounts are ranked in 1v1 this season and only 41k of those are on the Korean server. The numbers are legit and even higher these days.

Delusional it is. Got it.
Sad when people can't let go.

Holy fuck? There is new info on the Remaster? Looks great! Exactly what I hoped for. I was worried it will just be an upscale of the 2D assets.

Like I said looks good but I think they could have put some more effort on the front of the building where that crane hand is. Like I don't even know what that is supposed to be. Looks like a wall but it's supposed to be an entrance. It's blue so it kinda looks like windows. It's by the people who made the original so I'm not gonna question it too much, they should know how it should look.

It's an armored door.
It goes up and down.
What would you have added to convey the fact that's is a giant industrial door?

I checked the original conyard and it does look like it has some blue slab there so I guess it's pretty faithful. Armored door does make more sense. It looked like a wall to me because I couldn't imagine how it would move.

Not make it look like glass. Steel colored with some fucking paint on it.

Please show me glass that looks like that.

The original has a blue door.

>“It’s worth calling out that if there’s a conflict between the in-game asset, cinematic asset, or UI portrait, we’re always going to side with the in-game asset,” explained EA producer Jim Vessella. “That being said, if there are opportunities to pull in details from the cinematic footage to enhance an asset, we’ll do our best to incorporate those details. A good example here would be the blue pattern / texturing on the Con Yard door (Inspired by the classic Con Yard unpacking cinematic).”

I guess they mean this cinematic.

I had forgotten about it, yeah it shows the industrial door sliding up from the ground, that does make even more sense now.

>gamers can have multi account
>MMR 7004 one lose game
Nice data

>Though published by EA, Command & Conquer Remastered’s work is headed by Petroglyph Games, which contains many of the original developers from Westwood Studios. It’s also joined by Lemon Sky Studios, which helped out with StarCraft’s Remaster.

>If the asset is anything to go by, C&C Remastered’s visuals could be a step above even the StarCraft Remaster. The final release will include not just the original Command and Conquer, but Red Alert and all expansions.

>The game’s audio efforts will be headed by Frank Klepacki, who composed the soundtrack for the original. Last month, he asked for feedback from the community surrounding their favorite tracks, for which he has “something extra special” in mind.

Sounds like it's exactly in the right hands.

>Thankfully, despite EA’s branding, the game will contain no microtransactions. The company appears to be taking the effort very seriously after the negative reaction to C&C’s mobile game, Rivals.

Good.

I remember them saying they are going to keep the gameplay 1:1 with the original, I don't remember if they said they will add stuff like being able to queue more than one unit at a time.

they'll probably adding queues as a QoL decision
