First, you should have 99/99 aetherpool or close to it. The enemies don't adjust for party size in potd, so eventually you're fighting some tanky monsters in the higher regions. Because of that, a dps class is recommended, higher levels you will be pressed for time. Next, you should have some potions HQ max potions, echo drops (cures silence), and spine drops (cures paralysis), as there are traps and enemies that can apply these statuses. You should also ideally have some of the recovery potions that you can trade potsherds for. Finally, you should have at least done potd to 200 or at least the high floors with a party so you know what enemies are dangerous, which you can fight, which to avoid, and how to know pomander usage in a tough spot. You can do the run in any period of time you wish, but you must complete each section in one setting (1-10, 11-20, etc. )

You need actual sustain potions from potsherds.
You need to be red mage, not just a DPS job. Literally 3 people have gotten to floor 200 on Aether as red mage. No other jobs have passed 190, usually 180.

also pro tip, jump when opening chests. if it's a real chest it'll open, if it's a mimic you can't open it while jumping. however, keep in mind it does not work this way if the chest contains a pomander that you're full of, you can't open it while jumping.

Skipping B4 is an old meme that wasn't even true when people were repeating it. You mostly only skip B4 in cases where a boss jump means you won't be able to get 6 F4S.
I don't have many good tips, single target is pretty obvious.

The event is lasting for a month. It takes 200k MGP which isn't terrible to grind if you know where to find it. You can get about 100k a week from doing challenge logs and fashion report.

If you want/need potsherds to get more potions or the items, go for the normal chests *if you have time.* you will be pressed for time on the high levels where the brown boxes almost guarantee potsheds. Risk/reward sorta thing. Generally you want to get gold and fill up your pomanders. Especially in floors 91-100, it's highly recommended to get the kuribu pomanders to make the boss fight a lot easier. As you advance you'll want to conserve them, as fighting to get to a chest can take a while.

Also on a 200 clear run, never go for silver chests. They give you nothing at 99/99, and could possibly explode and put you in a tough spot.

Way I deal with that is just set a small daily goal like 10 wins on an NPC. You can get most cards within 100 wins so you get them sooner than you think and avoid burnout. I got most of my collection before they removed time restrictions on NPCs and the Random rule so it was even worse.

Yes, that's actually a big part of the endgame. There's one RNG drop mount from each of the Extreme mode Primal fights, if you get all 7 of them you will get an extra special mount, that's what the casuals do for endgame. You can get glamour from old dungeons too but our transmog system kinda sucks at the moment, we don't have a book like WoW does. You would have to store it away in a "Glamour Dresser" which has 200 free slots. It's getting patched though and they want to add a lot more storage space and quality of life stuff. There's also Savage raids, whatever mode comes after Heroic in WoW.

No one that actually participates in this stuff tolorates these people. They get blacklisted through other means.

The fight is retooled a bit but more or less the same. The main part of the fight is that Ozma can summon shades at the back of each platform that can have their own configuration. Also only main Ozma does auto attacks.
Each configuration does different things.

>Sphere: Only main Ozma can do tihs. Summons a blackhole that kicks you out of the raid. You need to have the entire raid stand on specific platforms to avoid this.

>Spiky: Circle AOE around Ozma, get far. Auto attacks become a stack marker that need to be shared with the entire group on the platform. Spawns meteor adds (that need to be placed on the back of the plaftorm, and to the side) and shooting star ( which is a knockback from the middle of the platform.)

>Cube: Donut AOE, get close. Rotating orbs spawn on the edge of the platform that need to be eaten by tanks. Auto attacks are now lasers that cleave. Will also throw out raid damage and stack markers.

>Pyramid: Line AOE, get off the middle platform. Auto attacks are now random AOEs that apply a bleed. Bleed can stack so players need to spread out to avoid getting hit by multiple. Ozma will use the stack marker, meteor adds, and an acceleration bomb.

Essentially how the fight plays it is that Ozma pick a configuration, spawn a shade in a different configuration, and you need to react accordingly. So if it's Spiky Main Ozma with Pyramid Shade Ozma, you'd need to move to the back of your platform and then quickly off the platform.

BLM's rotation is not too difficult, playing BLM well is more about knowing the boss fight and how to position ahead of time. Umbral Hearts is always a DPS gain unless the boss will die before you can squeeze off all six Fire IVs. Recasting Thunder between 0-6 seconds remaining on its timer is optimal as well.

There are a lot of real girls playing but a lot of in-your-face trannies too. xiv isn't one or the other but both. Less -80iq normals compared to games like WoW and ESO for instance but there's more trannies and women.

Raids are classic style raids. Gearchecks and basic IQ checks and not over complicated mechanics... the reason in my eyes being the fact that addons are haram since those tend to trivialize normal mechanics and as such lead devs down a line of making things overly complicated instead of gearchecks and a goal that people can realistically aim for.
