Nah I respect your opinion. I'd put it a notch below dragon ball desu. There's something special about how down to earth yet magical dragon ball was that had a really nice blend. Jojo is good and all but honestly I wish it had a bit less monster of the week stuff. Part 4 with Part 8s pacing would be pretty sweet. Especially when it's just chilling like the dices with Rohan.
Dragon ball and Dragon Ball Z. GT had terrible execution but I believe it was the right direction. Super has some good ideas but the direction was not right for the series. I liked some of the filler episodes but they should've been in a side series and not a direct sequel.

Really it's only the cell and Buu saga that dropped the ball. The world tournament arc in Z was setup to be max kino if supreme Kai didn't fucking derp shit up. Buu was a great tier villian. We don't need villian that are sympathetic in DBZ. That's why Jiren feels so off. All your other issues comply with watching the anime instead of the manga. Saiyan and Frieza arc was a great sequel to db.

Advanced Adventure was amazing. My mind was blown when I found out you can unlock and play as pretty much every enemy in the game.

This. Advanced Adventure is just about the best Dragonball game there could be, outside of giving some those playable characters their own campaigns in order to tell a more complete story. Tien's so fucking fun in that game.

Pre-Z adult Goku was honestly my favourite fucking Goku. I was a bit disappointed that they didn't extend the story from that end. If they do make an actual story based DBZ game or hell a xth anniversary movie. They should focus on Goku before Z

I do play other fighting games but I find dbfz gameplay to be trash. Trying to figure out weak spots on pressure, which vary a lot depending on wich characters they are using as current anchor and assist, to be way too annoying, especially now that most players figure out how to deal with switching characters during block. The camera is also another thing that I absolutely hate allowing shit like calling assists being you or not being able to see your character properly besides that shitty indicator. The game also have a few inconsistencies like having teports sometimes beating super dash or not, too much buffer on normals whne you press any buttons and attacks hitting behind the player like ss goku and ssb vegeta kick com and attacks. It is just a bunch of annoyances that I find every match and after 100 hours I was really sick of it. The game made a few adjustments that I liked such as being able to switch characters with down + assist, getting rid of that main hub and the changes to ginyu and nappa, but that's it.
