THERE AINT NO BREAKIN ME

No more games like that. good riddance

I am on a way to race Ronnie and I am so tired of this shitty game you wouldn't believe. It one thing to do races and bets, but raising you wanted level is so tedious, fucking hell. And it's always the same, up until stage 4 cops are fucking morons who can easily lost you from a plain site, and on the stage 4 there are so many of them it's hard to get away.

Doesn't help my game fucking crashes nearly every time I am in a cop pursuit mode.

so why are you still playing?

stop taking estrogen then

Perfect Black Box era NFS

THREE SIX NINE

This. Not only is it dull and eventually boring to race in such wide alleys and streets, but the AI is so dumb most of the time you don't really feel the sense of competition, like in almost every NFS. The colour palette is boring, a step back from Underground, which even if it is deliberate, hasn't aged quite well. The way you advance in the Blacklist is plainly dumb when you get to the higher tiers and it really ruins the experience. The cops do aswell. I had to deliberately limit my speed to 60 so the cops won't lose me, and half of the time they crashed on they own till I got to heat lvl 3, which really makes the experience more rewarding, in a bad way. Cops are, and perhaps the only, great thing in this game, because driving doesn't really change from your first shitcar to the Lamborghinis and Porsches. Highly repetitive and with a story that could entretain a 9y/o me, but now revisioned it's ridiculous in almost any sense. I used to love this game, Yea Forums, but it was my nostalgia speaking

When the FUCK are they going to make this backwards compatible

Come the FUCK on Microsoft

serves you right for being a consoletard
go buy NFS payback and buy some loot boxes like a good little consumer

As soon as I got this game when it came out I went through and manually disabled every rap song.

based desu

yea I remember what it was like back in high school too. sigh good times.

Why is this part so good and memorable.

There's a reason they brought him back in Carbon.

They brought him back for one line in Payback too

Also speaking of Payback
>game takes place in fictional Vegas, as all NFS games from UG1 aren't real places
>namedrops The Run, which did have real places, and Vegas was a stage

I used to get in 45-60 min car chases with the police, always almost getting away and then intentionally getting seen. I never figured out how to drag race though.

Drag races had two main elements: switching gears at the right time which was indicated on the needle in your velocimeter, and distinct lanes for the track, which were heavily scripted on where things like cars or trains would show up that would total you. All drag races were were looking at your hud so you switched gears perfectly and memorizing when and to which lane to switch to during the race.
