It is. There's no excuse for 12 backgrounds and only 1 song per stage. Or the fact that the textures are limited to colors. And drawing straight lines in handheld mode is more clunky than it should be. It's like they never used MS Paint.

The lack of backgrounds is really pissing me off. I wanted Midgar's, Great Cave Offensive and Suzaku Castle's backgrounds for specific ideas I had. Only being 12 and not even having a fucking sunset backdrop. I would have been fine with just the skies too. Surely it couldn't have been that hard to have just the skyboxes.

Another new one from me, I learned that the best way to use the free-draw tool is like a vector, placing points, NOT dragging your finger. It makes a world of difference

All of them are static background stages. Not every 104 stages are static, so they will most likely handpick from there if ever they plan to update the stage builder

Here's a suggestion, maybe have him start on a heavily slanted slope on the outside of the map rather than a stair. That way he might start with some extra momentum.

All this stage builder stuff is starting to make me crave for an "event builder". Like, where you can sent up defined battle with events like the ones in melee , or even some of the spirits battle, but where you can impose the playable character for maximum kino, and share them online.

Like, you have to play Sheik with fire flower VS giant , superspeed DK with light saber , focusing on grabs, rolls and taunts to mimic Sekiro's Guardian Ape fight.
