yeah, the big rivets make it look like it's a foot high model rather than a full sized contruction yard. Looks a bit much like a toy. I guess they're going for visual clarity but i think there's adjustments they could make

The Petroglyph remasters are 100% damage control after EA dug up the desecrated corpse of C&C to laugh at it with Rivals.
I'm one of the few people will defend Red Alert 3 but everything else after that was unforgivable

Only bad thing about RA3 was the damn art design.
OpenRA good but does not have all the single player missions. Plus there seem to be input lag in openRA.

Except no damage was done, you can easily notice this if you have the ability to poke your head out of your own comfort zone for a while, Rivals is probably more succesful than any other C&C on the virtue of being a good mobile game alone
And RA3 was a good game despite the usual EA treatment

Currently playing through allied campaign on Red Alert 3. Beat the Soviet campaign on hard plan on beating the rest on hard. It's not too hard but I can be a brainlet sometimes.

I liked RA3. It was different enough to be its own game but still be C&C as hell with the live action cutscenes, racial caricatures, and retro-future technologies.
