Be more tactical and don't use dynamite for fast enemies like geckos, unless you're sneaking up on them.

Listen for the audio cue to let you know you're entering combat and be alert.

If you can't beat some enemies, try leading them back to npcs and let those npcs kill em for you.

it's time consuming, no skill involved. you're expected to sneak around constantly and score sneak attacks. ridiculous.

Pause the game, click on options, click on gameplay and change the difficulty to VERY EASY - now you can play it.

Fucking seriously, don't even have to be that great at stealth. Hop on some rocky ledges and you're home free. Even if a Deathclaw or two spot you by the time you've fully made it around the edge of Black Mountain's zone they'll have given up.

Then it's a straight line to NV. How much easier could it be?

Well, how was I? It's the beginning of a game. It was some peoples first game they ever played.

Except cazadors are easy? If you shoot their wings they cant match your foot speed. Really though this is an rpg and you can get past all of those with smart thinking or planning or strategy or even just using stealth.

Then you die and learn just like the first goomba on 1-1

You need some form of armour at the start, the shit that local bandits have is acceptable but makes you look like them. Best to sell it for something or kill a raider.
Don't focus speech early either, there's no speech checks above 25 until you're level 4ish. You can spend more points on combat this way.
Also, you'll be maxed if you have all DLC, and everything will be 100 eventually. Choose something first and stick with it, you cannot be a jack of all trades

no it's a shooter with rpg elements. a true rpg would depend entirely on stats and dice rolls/rng for combat.
