But better to look at Kroniki Myrtany (chronicles of Myrthana) mod instead of DK.

KM is original DK, but the owner of the rights to the name is a fag, who decided to step out form making the mod, then after a month claimed that they cannot use the name anymore (what he allowed before) and started making his mod with different team.

Both mods looks promising, but KM is likely to be released, and I also spoke with one of creators.

Just accept that PB sucks ass at making real-time combat systems. Larian sucked at it, too. Unlike PB though, they recognized it and made the switch to turn-based. Now they're far more successful than they ever were back when making shit like Divinity 2. PB could stand to learn from them.

No, they won't. It will be completely free. It's a mod dude. This game has an inspired community, and they all doing it from the bottom of their hearts and for the hack of it. Also they get donations if I remember.

VAs get like 40 minutes long documentaries about their careers in exchange, Iirc the mod team has a separate team exactly for this. They're partnered with some gov foundation to make those.
For a mod it's a huge fucking project, there are like 50 people in the credits.
