Wasn't ruined by being released?

What happened?

How was it ruined.

It added Tier V world and grinding for parts to make a single piece of equipment that won't be the highest gear score unless you have the highest possible gear score prior to making the piece of equipment.

Gear score doesn't even matter right now

>nerfed every single dmg build and no buffs to the shit ones.
>dark zone now gives the highest gear score so people are forced to do PVP for the best loot.
>removed the gear score boost from recalibration
>removed smg chance to crit when hipfiring
basically fuck PVE in favor of PVP

I thought the game was ruined when it didn't matter what settings you were on and it lagged like shit every single patch from release onwards. The fact that i can't refund this game nor play it at a decent level is just killing me. I know it isn't my PC's fault since it has moments in broad daylight with npcs nearby where it reaches 60 FPS. Hell even on benchmark it didn't drop under 48 FPS

Massive has no idea how to balance this game

Sounds to me like you were a SMG piss baby in Division 1 where it was king and nothing compared and are just pissed that they gimped it so hard that Assault rifles are the way to go now.

>made the dark zone the best place to get loot
That's what I like to hear. Fucking around in the darkzone was one of my favorite thing to do in the first game

Why would they not also let 515 gear drop in heroic mission, that would make them actually worth doing

Massive is so retarded that it's actually impressive. They COULD have a pretty good game, but they refuse to balance and design end-game in any reasonable way.

>>dark zone now gives the highest gear score so people are forced to do PVP for the best loot.

this is a very good thing

Star Wars Galaxies.

Dark Zone is a mix of pvp and pve though

the first game had a pretty cool dark zone area, the second not so much. it's really small and it's limited to only 12 players (vs 24 in the first game), which means once you've played for an hour in there, you've already explored the whole thing and you're just grinding the same spots over and over which is boring af.

>The power of the epic game store

Get on the forums (and probably their reddit) and screech at them in the same way the vocal minority of PVP fags are always screeching at them to change things which favor their little pocket of the game but fuck up the other 99% of the game.

>Implying it wasn't crap from the start

>hunger

I forgot this game came out

>being subjected to godawful PVP that has the slightest skillcurve imagineable where everyone good is good because they're running meta buils is a good thing
Reddit, pls.

Turn off Uplay overlay. That changed a lot for me at least.

There's some inherit fucked up code that is making even absolute brand new top of the line systems consume 100% CPU usage.
A number of fixes like changing the task's CPU priority, disabling its access to one thread so it can't take up 100%, changing resolution to whatever and then back to what you want, disable UPlay overlay, each consistently work/don't work for different people.
