They play GTA, CoD, and NBA 2K. Fallout is nerd shit.

As someone who played it at launch the end game involved repeatedly nuking the south eastern side of the map, having a bunch of retards show up, killing a giant bat, and then getting the same loot you already got the previous twenty times. You did all of this to get recipes for things you probably didn't need to craft. Legendaries were absolute bullshit, and most people were rocking duped guns that were just getting passed around, so any sense of value items had in the game was gone. PvP was a joke, everyone was able to one hit kill everyone even if they were wearing power armor, and you could get stealth crits on people who were staring you right in the face. The only PvP the game had was workshop PvP, and for some reason they decided workshops were too enticing, so they nerfed their production into oblivion, so that stopped immediately.

Nevermind all of the bugs, the game was simply not structured to be played for any longer than a few days.
