I'm trying to fight her normally (no cheese) but some of her combos are fast as fuck and I still can't remember all her moves. Doing my best to keep pressuring her in 2nd phase so she can't summon the mobs but I can't keep it up for long.

The biggest issue with Demon of Hatred is his absolutely massive health bar.
If you stay on his nuts, dodge the charge attack and can roughly read the stomps it's just a matter of time. Still haven't used the upgraded whistle on him yet but I hear that's good.

Like I said before it's pointless grind. Pop balloon, farm for money, buy spirit emblems, loose all emblems after few failed tries to kill the boss, repeat. Game should just give you bare minimum 10 emblems after each death.

I can now beat regular Sword Saint Isshin consistently. Now on NG2 going to 3.
Attempted with demon bell but only managed 2nd phase and barely 3rd phase sometimes.
Have yet to try without Kuro's charm.
What exactly do the bell and no charm does though?
I noticed my posture bar recovers slower with the bell.

Demon of Hatred had some of the easier attacks to dodge for me. His health is just so huge that the challenge becomes managing to pay attention for the entire fight without getting bored.

Don't have any particularly useful tricks as he slammed me pretty hard when I fought him. I found jump attacks with Owl while they don't do a whole lot can get a little damage in as he seems pretty bad at blocking it out of neutral.

The Any% run(Shura) barely fights anyone at this point. It's just Ogre, Genichiro, Folding Monkeys, Snake Eyes, Corrupted Monk and Fire Isshin. The rest are skipped or cheesed.

It isn't as if there's an item that restores spirit emblems at the cost of some health. Not to mention that Spirit emblems are an infinite resource that can be both farmed and purchased for dirt cheap. You fucking idiots act like it's a precious resource that is hard to find. Not to mention that combat arts still work without spirit emblems, they're just weaker. Prosthetics are the only things that actually require spirit emblems to function and mikiri countering is fucking casual and doesn't even injure the bosses health. Mist raven dodging increases posture damage + does health damage, Mikiri does nothing but increase posture and forces you to sit through a 3 second animation instead of doing something else to catch the boss off guard.

I was playing around with no-lock-on fighting and for some reason it's impossible to jump over the head of someone you are locked on to, but you can do it by disabling lock on for the instant that you jump and then locking-on again before you completely pass over their head no problem. It's a very effective way to dodge compared to always dashing

I beat the entire game ng+ with no kuro charm and demon bell but I had to give up the demon bell when fighting SS Isshin he just broke me for 2 days. But now that I've gotten good I could maybe do it
