Its a genuinely great game though

Unironically pretty good compared to the next two. Progression felt right and the concept was interesting.

>forced sad moments, especially right at the beginning
>many overrated character such as Freya who is too serious to be enjoyed, has no humanity. Atreus who is overly exaggerated. Mimir who does nothing but talk. Some character that are are not funny
>many unimportant side quests
>combat is rather repetitive, especially since you fight the same enemies all throughout the game
>the fact that you cant even throw the axe while on the boat is an embarrassing system, theres no excuse for that
>finding too many of the same items
>the giant serpent who does practically nothing and is there for show for most of the game
6.5/10 if you ask me

I feel like people thought the first game was cool and then immdiately stopped giving a fuck about the reboot series, which is understandable since Rise is painfully mediocre. Shadow has a few good moments though.

First one is a generic action shooter with 0 puzzles. How anyone could think that the first one is better than the sequels that expand on actual tomb raiding is beyond me.

I agree, I think Shadow ended up being the best one of the three.

It's overrated in the sense that even one person out there considers it anything more than the worst mainline RE.

every sony third person shooters.
i mean, last of us for example was an actual 6/10 game, which is kind of ok, but in the end every third personshooter feels the absolute same. there is nothing new, yet they are all glorified as best game ever

Friends won't salvage the unbearably monotonous gameplay loop of the campaigns. It's like they saw that everyone liked the village section of 4 and made a 10 hour long repetition of that.

4 has a much better campaign with much better pacing and every new idea 5 shit the bed on was at least improved upon in 6, not to mention the controls are VASTLY superior. A shame 6 is still shit but I have more nice things to say about it than 5.

You might genuinely be retarded. 4 is absolute shit. 5 took 4's failed ideas and actually delivered a RE game, albeit a more action oriented one. 6 took it too far.

last of us is a shit game.
the story is just some forced "we let a character with any relevanz die" drama shit (so sad)
the gameplay is just 3 enemie type you deal with by throwing glass bottles in a wall.
and to get on the top of mount shit. the rest of the game is just walking, and climbing through the same repeated shit over and over.
find a ladder--->pick up ladder--->place ladder to the nearest wall

5 is easily the farthest from classic RE tradition. 4 still had half a foot in the survival horror camp while 6 tried (in a a rather misguided bid) to be everything, including survival horror. 5 is just a worse version of Chris's campaign in 6, 90% of it is walking into a room, killing everything in sight, taking 5 steps and doing it all over again.

The most fun I've had with a video game ever was taking two of my friends who had never played an RE game before through that game and witnessing their reaction to everything that happens in it. I guess I just got lucky with how I got to experience the game

They gave her a bow because Hunger Games was popular at the time. Soulless.
