I was playing ac black flag and they had this beautiful bayou level that felt like it came straight out of pirates of the caribbean. However you just hold r2 and up and run through the entire thing in 3 minutes. I would love a souls pirates game with Armored Core ship combat.

People develop those "skills" after playing so many souls games. Back when first dark souls and demon souls were released, people were use to invisible walls to prevent you from falling, qte's doing everything for you, and just button mashing hack and slash. You didn't have to learn enemies patterns or anything like that. But now after 8 souls game, people are use to pattern recognition.

Yeah, I agree with you. If you removed the difficulty from Dark Souls/Sekiro, they'd be much worse off for it. That's a big reason why they shouldn't have easy modes.
