I dunno for sure, but if you spec'd into Guerrilla, you should have a turret with rocket pods and twin Slag barrels by now. That should be very helpful all by itself. If all else fails, put some points into the first set of skills in each tree, they're all generally useful buffs that you'll want down the line.

manually hexediting your game takes 3 minutes if you follow step by step a guide, and you're not a baboon.

Any tree is fine for the first two difficulties. For UVHM though having twin turrets that also fire slag is a god send.

In Borderlands 2 kinda. For the first two difficulties it's not bad. For UVHM you should just grind to get to level 72 and then start doing quests that give you weapons or any equipment.

I just finished BL1 for the first time. I only played BL2 and TPS before. I really liked BL1's elemental weapons, they were really fucking strong.
Also, is there a way to bring back Borderlands 1's extreme satisfying gore to the other games? What a shame they didn't keep that in

I only ever played BL1 solo, for BL2 and TPS I played with said friend. It was great fun. I just wish sometimes we were 4 people due to several things

BL2 and TPS have health gating, as long as you stay above 50% HP you cannot get one shotted no matter what, this is why weapons that regenerate your health are the best survival items in the game
