Quest for Glory 2 and 3.
You can import clear files to the next game in the series, and in QFG2 and 3, you have the reward money from your previous game's final quest.

In QFG2, you need to exchange NotGerman gold and silver for NotMorrocan Dinars/Centimes.
Then, in QFG3, you exchange the Dinars for Royals/Commons.
In QFG4, you lose all your luggage in and start the game with literally nothing but clothing.
In QFG5, a patron makes a 200 Drachma deposit into you bank account to get you started.
