I'd be surprised at this point if they make it platform exclusive, even sony couldn't pay them THAT much. At best it'll be on both next gens with the PC version being delayed 6 months.

Virtually guaranteed it'll come to PC, and probably xbox 2 as well. And no one was expecting it to come to Nintendo in the first place. So not much at all, really.

They should just make a new FF instead, trying to bring back what made FF7 good. A remake is just not gonna be enough, specially with an absolute hack like Nomura directing it.

I don't get why they have to drastically change everything about the game, they'd be better off using the same gameplay but just with modern graphics and voice acting

Nomura did character designs and outfits in XIII, Toriyama was responsible for XIII. The only things Nomura has ever been in charge of is Kingdom Hearts, and Versus XIII.
