You're telling me you didn't find a game that was rated for teens to be challening? Oh my. What did you do? You didn't over level did you? I mean, only a mad man would of done that. You are SO smart, I wish we were as smart as you. What new game will you conquer? pokemon? because i dont know what you've heard but that's challenging. But I'm sure you'll figure out a child's game...right?

You sound mad for no explicable reason, I am sorry I didn't like the game you liked despite trying to

Fuck you, the game is perfect

So not only do you feel the need to brag about a game designed with teens in mind, which has always been just to over level...you now are admitting you're so stupid you think people are mad because they're telling you that you're stupid?
It's not even summer man. What're 12?

>T-rated games can't be challenging because ???
Don't even agree with OP but you're retarded

It's a shitty game that's only loved by fags, idiots, and furries so of course Yea Forums pretends it's good.

That's too bad. Most JRPGs aren't challenging and you should not go to Final Fantasy looking for difficulty. Life goes on.

There is no challenging final fantasy

How do you find jrpgs for teens to be challenging if you're supposed to be smarter than them at your age?

Play Minstrel Song on PS2 if you want to play a challenging JRPG with deformed chibi freak characters.

I didn't over level though, I only did what was required in terms of random encounters. The game doesn't have enough depth in it's gameplay to warrant me wanting to power level in the first place.

I'm still confused why you think I'm impressed by this feat you accomplished. It's a children's game, for weeb children teenagers. They don't play Final Fantasy for the challenge.

>It's for kids so it's allowed to be shitty

>this amount of ass pain that attempted to come off as sarcasm
loling at you

I don't feel impressed, all I had was an opinion. I just wanted the game to be more difficult and it wasn't. I also wanted the story to be less cliche, the characters to be a bit more memorable too but at least the music was great and the locations were sometimes really nice to look at

No where did I say that. If that's what I wanted to say, I'd say it. Learn to read and not assume.

Thanks for sharing. Make sure you tell one of your parents when you need to use the bathroom since it's obvious you like to declare to strangers how you're laughing. I won't be around and I'd feel bad if a retard thought we were friends. No offense, it's not your fault you're an imbecile. Your parents should of killed you off but god damnit they just loved you so much.

So you have an opinion, yet react when people give you neither opinion. I never said the game was good or bad. You're just looking for responses to debate and argue. But honestly: You didnt like something, so fucking what?

NES1 at least pretends it can kill you
3DS has harder bosses and dungeons in the series
4SNES is one of the few where the final boss isn't just a joke if you head straight there
Do spinoffs count?

I don't know. The games are always "comfortable" in their difficulty. The only braindead easy installments are 1 anniversary, 6, 8 enc null, and 9. Everything else at least pretends you can die.

>he's still at it
loling @ your life

>he thinks green texting is somehow not making me less aware he's a baiting bored faggot and I'm just replying because I'm also bored.
What a twist.

>he's STILL at it
loling @ your life

>Suggest FF9 isn't that good
>user loses his shit
I would not expect anything else from an FF9fag

>Thinks I care he's going to be infinity doing this for some reason.
Oh no, I hope the hot girl on the board doesn't see me falling for bait.

FFIX is unironically worse than FFXIII. So glad people actually see this as truth now.

>he's can't stop
loling @ your life

It's not worse than 13. It is significantly easier though.

This. Fun fact:objectively speaking it's worse than XIII and VII

Vaguely elaborate.

>It's not worse than 13.
But it is. At least XIII was somewhat experimental even though it has nothing else going for it.

No one has lost their shit.

I would never tell you IX is good.

Try to get Excalibur 2 then we will talk.

4>3>5>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>=12>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>=13=9

>FFX
>The dumbest plot, the worst protag, the dumbest twist with the dumber love story and the worst let down final boss in history of rpgs.
>SS
Yeah, no.

My biggest grind with the game is how uncustomizable the characters are and how slow it is. I still play VII, VIII and X because their pace is faster and you can do more combinations with your abilities. IX was nice experience but it is lacking in replayability.

As long as everyone still thinks Vivi is the biggest pimp, I'm cool with people hating FF9

So is ff7 good? it's the only one I have and I've never opened it

XIII really wasn't that much of a departure besides the removal of non story significant NPCs which did negatively impact player experience but it's main problems are always character progression options being locked until 2 hours before Gran Pulse, lack of the above non story significant NPCs fucking up the sense of scale, and restrictive player freedom even though you have more options in general when you get to

hmm
Actually you might be right. But at least 9's final dungeon isn't complete ass. 13's final dungeon is quite easily the worst in the series and also the worst final dungeon I've experienced period.

>3 above 5
How to spot a contrarian on Yea Forums in a nutshell

It's alright. It's a grand scale RPG with some unique characters and the materia system is pretty fun to engage in. Translation is awful though.

Not OP, but goddamn you are seriously fanny frazzled about him not liking this game.

Play it and find out

>fanny frazzled
Do you seriously use that phrase in real life? Are you 80?

9s customization is hard stuck by progress which itself wouldn't be a problem (because 7 handles it well) but is a problem because they drip feed you options until 3/4ths of the way through the game.
Because of this, unless you're attribute training, abilities end up being "opt out" rather than "opt in" and playthroughs become similar.

Just kiss each other already faggots.

FF9 is great for the story and character development.

>FF9 is great for the story and character development.
lol

Explain

Not him, and while I don't necessarily agree about the SS placement.:

>final boss
The final boss was Jecht, who was good. Yu Yevon is a victory lap. Summoned beasts are there for presentation.
>dumbest plot
4 is stupider. 5 is omitted because that game is intentionally a comedy.
>dumber love story
Worse than Rinoa? More of a non entity than Rosa?

Besides depending on how large or small your brain is, many people still argue that Blues final boss is the worst Final Boss battle in JRPGs because his story ends halfway into it.

I remember you.
I didn't tell you that.
I told you it goes off a cliff after the first disc.

why'd you spoiler that?

Why not?

fuck off cianiggers

he knows

Because he's some faggot who desperately wants your attention and has no argument or ideas of his own?

>final fantasy
>challenging
when? the snes games? it's not like 7 and 8 are hard games

They all slide on a scale of easy sure but something I see people misunderstand is that people DON'T want the games to be easy. They don't, they want to beat the game. They just want the game to pretend that it's challenging.

I don't want anything to do with someone who rates FF12 so low.

>turn-based jrpg
>challenging
these are story games, the challenge is very minimal

It was because you were told it was good.

You went into the game expecting it to be a 10/10 experience and were disappointed when it turned out it wasn't, whereas someone jumping in without any knowledge of the game would've been stunned at how good the game is.

I had the same feeling. Everyone around me told me FF9 was fantastic and I went it in expecting a fantastic game, but instead I just got a good game. It's perfectly fine but I feel that everyone hyping it up for me made me expect it to be much much better than it was, and in turn kind of ruined it for me.

It's why I don't like hearing opinions of any game for me. Positive or Negative since I'll go in with those ideas and usually it'd backfire. It's kind of a shame since I tell people all the time that Ghost Trick is a fantastic game and people usually play it and tell me it was okay, when I feel like I hyped the game up for them when I really shouldn't have.

It's sort of a double edged sword, you want someone to play this fantastic game and you want to give them incentive but you don't want them to think it's incredible from the get go otherwise they'll have that in their mind the entire time.
