Okay Yea Forums I’ve been thinking about this for a while and I think it’s time to finally get it done, and I’d like you to help me. I’m making a list of all the games that should be avoided at all costs out of principle in order to only enjoy games that do not fall victims to political shit, as videogames were intended in the first place.
Please post games that fall under one or more of these categories and state which one: >Homosexual themes/characters >Feminist garbage >Censored games >Snowflake propaganda No matter how subtle it is, if it has anything related to this, it should be included.
What should NOT be included in this list: >Western games just for the fact that they’re western >Games from [THAT] company unless they qualify, we should already know not to give [them] a cent >Exclusive games just because you don’t like [______] platform >Games that are considered “bad” for writing/gameplay, that’s an entirely different topic >Games with black/brown/yellow/etc characters, UNLESS they’re blatantly put in the game for California points
It would probably be easier to make a list of “playable” games, but I think having a shit list is more useful. There's a shitton of games I'm missing, particularlyl western games, but I can't be bothered to include those because 1. It's late. 2. I don't give much of a damn about Western games outside of Wayforward and Indie games. The only Western one I can think of that I directly tried fighting for a refund was Yooka-Laylee, due to removing Jontron for bullshit political reasons.

Anyone wanna talk about BFV? I grinded out getting the fireaxe the past 2 days, havent played in a while. I had the sickest firestorm win. Last man left in rando squad. I swim to a small island, get a kill or 2, then its down to 1v1. The guy is across the small space of water, i got no cover but I have a sniper rifle. Hit him a few times, he takes cover to bandage, then I hear the V1 rocket engine headed my way just as I entered the water to push him. As I get to the other side of the water, the rocket hits my old island and the blast was close enough to do damage and knock my character down. Get up and get the kill at close range. The story is a simple BR story ive played out in a bunch of other games, but the animation of being knocked down from a god damn rocket makes it one of the best feeling ever. Revive animations, climbing, entering vehicle animations, feels good.

No problem. I think this is a really good idea, if only because it can be a centralized hub of information for people who don't like this kind of crap in their games (or just for people who are curious what bullshit is in these games in the first) which is something that we desperately need.
If you're looking for more games to add on the list, you could also check out One Angry Gamer. I know it has a bad rep on here since it's referenced so much, but they're pretty much the only site that's constantly on top of pretty much anything controversial. Those controversies will be discussed here one way or another anyway.
That reminds me, you can also add the new Vampire Masquerade game coming out to the list (I forget the actual name though).
