Every single contra 100% through co-op
God damn my man
I beat Metroid Zero Mission in one hour and twenty minutes in a single sitting.
I cobalt ranked the Dirty Bomb training course
I started DMC1 on Easy Auto and played each difficulty to finally beat it on DMD.
1cc touhou 6 7 and 8 on normal
Beat most stuff in fzero gx
Not much but eh
Literal Achievement? Fucking Annual.
I can't wait to do it again on PC.
Was it worth it? Also what was it like jumping up higher and higher?
Not much of an achievement whore but I 100% and S ranked Hotline Miami 2 in hard mode and got a 95X combo on dead ahead
I beat TMNT1 on the NES.
how old where you when you did
Getting some cutting edge achievements in WoW
Yeah lol I don't do especially hard challenges or beat especially hard games (I mean what even constitutes a hard SP game anyway)
I had a lot of fun doing it, so yeah I guess it was worth it. The difficulty increase is intense, from normal to hard. I mean, I think it was. This is at least 15 years ago.
I've played every DMC since except 2,but I've never finished another DMD. I'm not sure I'd have the patience these days, though I did love DMC5.
I've beat about five Call of Duty games on veteran, it doesnt sound hard until how artificial you realize the AI is, its not a test of skill, but a test of endurance.
8, basically just bruteforced it by playing it over and over. No way would I have the patience to do it again now, the infamous water level for instance is nowhere near as fucked up as some of the later levels in the game.
Owned and beat some other titles that people think were difficult, like Double Dragon 3, but imo TMNT1 still takes the cake.
I beat dark souls hurr durr
Only the pre-2010 CoDs have any challenge
I beat dark souls 3. Checkmate
that is pretty impressive
That means your on the leaderboards right? Who are you?
challenge 6 in vanquish
out of the frying pan..
beat both original and modern Spelunky without shortcuts, 100%'ed the classic version (time, gold, kills, and damsel challenges)
got a fortress in Dwarf Fortress to 100+ happy dwarves with an incomplete copy of the wiki and no internet access
something something Cuphead hurr durr
It took 3 hours to do that. Not gonna post my name but I am and I forgot to mention that I also was on the leaderboards in HM1 even a couple of single didgets before the cheated scored came in I just love these fucking games so much.
...harder they fall
I finished Fable without any upgrades or levelling up, I guess.
hey user I'm listening to youtube.com
I completed F-Zero GX
Nothing too exciting
Best personal achievement was having an NG+5 on R&C 3 on same save.
I just really loved thst game as a kid
Nice, This is my fav one with Daisuke & Rust
youtube.com
Some of those guys ended up having legitimate music careers, I went to a Perturbator show last month and his set was really good, no fuck ups. Same with Carpenter Brut those guys have a fire show too. Scattle went on to make make a lot more music for games and his solo albums are also pretty good and on my telephone at all times
youtube.com
UMVC3 especially, since it was my first fighting game. Bad Company was fun.
I beat every single Hollow Knight boss on radiant difficulty except for Absolute Radiance
This for me too. I even ended up doing it without items on DMD except yellow orbs on the Mundus fight, because while I like the Space Harrier section having to redo it on DMD is awful. It's pretty fun because of the enemy placement changes and the game forcing you to play even better to win. I still start a new game to finish on DMD once in a while, but usually just do normal and hard because I still have trouble with Nelo 3 on DMD even after all this time. Never felt like doing it with any of the other DMC games though, their balance seemed off.
What do you think of Rob Racer and his campaigns?
If it wasn't on Very Hard your achievement is naught
Nice, I'm really pleased at how much success came out of those games for the people involved
I completed MGS3 with no kills and no alerts on Euro Extreme.
The stealth camo sucks and wasn’t worth it.
You're actually cool
Didn't play his campaigns. Didn't the custom campaigns revive /hmg/ for a short time?
Me too, they also hit a nice spot that I can't find in other electronic music. Check out furi if you didn't yet.
Can't think of any, really. I beat Dark Souls as a SL1 pyro but that's not very impressive considering pyromancies don't require higher soul level to get more powerful.
When i was little kid i played a full 500 lap race in Nascar'98 and lead every lap. Also use to do the Gran Turismo endurance races.
I unlocked the White menu theme on Cave Story for beating Hell in less than 4 minutes
me and one of my friends beat goof troop in one go a couple years ago. it's not a real hard game, the real achievement was strengthening the friendship with my bro.
you'r a legend m8. i used to read the achievement description and i could only wonder.
was once the world's top 500 dps warriors during MoP when trials was still new (pic not me)
I am sure anyone can grind this shit out given time but it was something.
I had sex
Me and my friend went through Contra 3, Ninja Warriors, Smash TV, Knights of the Round and some other beat em up that I can't remember the name of and it hurts. Did it in a single sleepover. Was rad. We also beat Drakken together beforw we had internet.
All Zones Aria in Necrodancer
Not falling for the mid-90s style over substance gaming cancer that has taken over gaming now.
I was the most geared person in the entire world in WoW at one point.
have sex
I got 80,000+ points solo in THotD1 at one point when I was a preteen
Finished House of the Dying sun on its hardest difficulty and 100%’ed it. It’s the only game I’ve ever 100%’ed.
i still havent beat cod 4
>dps warriors
In guitar hero 2 I could beat free bird on expert before most people in my high school
1CCed the first loop of Dodonpachi DFK. Had on auto-bomb so I still feel like a pleb but god damn it felt satisfying.
soloing black ops 3 on realistic is by far the hardest tho
Goddamn i remember putting like 6+ hours a day back in the day trying to get that achievement for the ever legendary recon helmet
When it shows up on G2A for 5 bucks 2 years from now I will call you a faggot if it isnt
Metal Gear Rising on every difficulty didn't get any of the no damage achievements
Real Platinum God for BoI:Rebirth
>Heat Veteran
I beat the true ending of Lobotomy Corporation.
Anyone who has ever played Day 49 of that game will know how ridiculous that shit is.
>no fighting in the war room
>you have to stop the missiles
that mission will be the death of me
I beat Dark Souls Hurr Durr on SL1
What expac?
DPS warriors are viable depending on patch and when they work they are fucking great.
I am a main prot for warriors though, but my true main is blood since WotLK.
I got Real Platinum God on every version of Binding of Isaac on PC.
The hard part there was the corridor that splits and forces you into a crossfire. Just flash and run and you can get past it
I wouldn't brag about it, but the summer between high school and college I grinded like 15 hour days for the whole summer and got my completionist cape. I wouldn't say I regret it because I was a loser who wasn't going to do anything that summer anyways
i could never do it
after watching a tutorial for it, i gave up
i want to play up to that point again. I feel like i could do it. I'll try that because thats the exact part i got stuck on
I shot down Mobius One in an F-4 in Ace Combat Zero's Gauntlet mission.
Road to Recon was good times. The sheer nostalgia I have for Road is only matched by how long and hard I tried for Steppin' Razor.
100% both hotline miamis, like 90% done with the binding of isaac. fucking hate the challenges
It's not as simple as I made it sound since even if you break the cross fire you end up in a room with no cover and 3 dudes that could be anywhere alongside 2 waves of reinforcements. If you can survive it then you pretty much won
i won the roll
+ for some time i had the biggest ++ weapon on a L2 server
Getting my first hat accepted in TF2 was probably my happiest moment.
More recently, getting to 4400 SR in Overwatch after a year of trying.
Firelands in Cata
Maxed literally everything in FFVII
All characters at 99, max materia, bonus materia etcetc, rarest chocobos you name it I did it.
Did it by grinding on some mobs in the final dungeon that give about 3000XP per battle to get to 99. Ruby Weapon was still hard (but had that materia that ressed you on down, so not impossible. Just had to hope you didn't get vanished).
I even tried ressing Aeris with the Desert Rose lol.
I beat FFT w/ SSCC Monk challenge, it's frustating, some battles required ~50+ resets (Fuck Balk) but when I finally defeated Ajora, I'm filled with joy.
Did a consecutive speedrun of Dark Souls trilogy at SL1
it was not fast
I completed every side op in MGSV. Didn't 100% though, couldn't be arsed with some of the optional mission objectives.
I beat Dark Souls Hurr Durr
100% Burnout 3 I guess
1. I beat Metroid: Zero Mission on Hard 100% and when I got to mecha Ridley I neat him in under 3 minutes without taking a hit.
2. I 100% completed GTA: Vice City Stories
3. I Platinumed Monster Hunter World.
4. I got the surfing Pikachu and flying Pikachu on the Pokéwalker, took me 3 years.
5. I once beat Dig Dug so hard the level counter reset and I got bored and quit when it said "Level 3". The enemies were still fast as fuck.
6. I got so good at DaSII PvP back in its heyday that I have met, befriended, fought and beaten virtually every well known player at least once. I was taught by the best.
That imagine is fucking awesome
this isnt impressive at all considering your damage comes from weapons. Also upgraded armor/shields
I won a Mortal Kombat 9 tournament at my High School trying to hold in my shit and my crush was watching.
Later realized that I beat her Boyfriend in the final round and he wanted to be my bro because "You're the only dude who can keep up with me, want to play Marvel with me at my place?"
I said completed. So I did everything, including every difficulty
This but in low% still can't beat bolt though
I have been blackout drunk and still mapped out the original Deus Ex on a 1:1 scale, complete with item placements and guard pathing.
My notes get pretty wonky when I get up to Hong Kong, but up to that point, it's like you've pulled up the SDK.
But you still got NTR'd.
masters in sc2 and 5k in dotes
fair enough. good luck with the underwater mission and bullet sponge robots
I beat Kripp in Hearthstone arena, live on stream, and he got salty and thought I was sniping.
during a school trip we brought a ps2 and had a PES tournament
i lost 4-0 infront of a crush because the fucking game gave me a red card when it really shouldnt have
anyway it was fun cuz after she was consoling me but i was too much of a pussy to try anything
years later i asked her that if she wanted to get together during that trip
she said yes
I conquered all of calradia on mount and blade warband , i still hate having to conquer the rhodoks they are too good at castle defence
No death no bonfire DS2 NG0 is probably the "Hardest" thing I've done.
I beat her Boyfriend got a 200 dollar gift card to Gamestop and a free Box Meal at Cane's I got what a semi deserved for spamming the Cyrax/Smoke assists
Holy fuck how long did that take? 200 hours?
it took me like 300 hours at the end it was a mess trying to deal with like 30 lords in my kingdoom , i dont blame anyone that dont try to conquer everything
It was also genuinely one of the most fun memories I have of that game. Two high school buddies, one rando that one of the buddies knew, and me all stressing over getting that fucking Achievement. Sweating our way through the actual fight portion, getting our Ghosts shredded by Sentinels, having to retry that last segment because one faggot stopped boosting on the last jump and died during the cutscene transition... man, it was glorious.
i live casted around 25 thousand games of starcraft 2
I was number one in Xbox 360's COD4 assault course trial leaderboards for like a month before hackers started popping up with 1-3 second runs.
Killed a guy cross-map on quarry by shooting his claymore through a wall and blowing him up.
I had that explosive-detecting perk on but still
Well now im curious. That's a lot of games.
I finished the first Discworld game when I was like thirteen-fourteen with no walkthroughs (internet wasnt really a thing back then)
Any game on the NES I went back on to defeat is an achievement in my book.
I’ve gotten platinum on every track in Trials Evolution and I’m working on getting the same with Fusion.
casted since 2010, when you cast tournaments every week it adds up pretty quick.
I've got the Mark of Conquest in FFX, proof thst I've beaten every enemy on the arena. It was more of a grind than a challenge at certain point, though.
I've also the platinum trophy for FFXIII, but that one's an achievent for me because I still don't know how I was able to stomach that game for so long.
You'd still need to cast an average of over 50 games a week. I'm having a bit of a hard time believing that.
a single gsl-style group is 10-15 games, user. last tournament i casted, i did over 30 games.
I got to 101 s in hyper hexagonest
So you've casted multiple tournaments every week on average? That's some dedication.
based
Halo Reach legendary solo with Mythic on.
My senses felt so sharp after the final mission I went online like I had the power of a god.
>Inb4 "I beat Dark Souls Hurr Durr"
I beat dark souls overencumbered
Platinum every challenge in timesplitters 2 and 3
Beat original Far Cry on realistic difficulty.
I beat MGQ without fapping.
Diamond sc2 years ago and 100% burnout takedown.
Unironically got to the centre of the galaxy in No Mans Sky on permadeath mode.
I have some good times in some NES games, can't say the times because it will expose who I am, but I will say they are top 10.
No one gives a rotten fuck who you are, you attention-whoring nigger.
OH MAN GUYS, DON'T WANT TO LET IT SLIP WHICH **CELEBRITY** OF SPEEDRUNNING ACTUALLY VISITS Yea Forums, HAHA. MY COUPLE HUNDRED STREAM WATCHERS MIGHT TEASE ME LOL.
You are utterly fucking insignificant in every sense of the word.
I 100% ed Burnout Revenge
Beat Ninja Gaiden 1-3
Got a cultural conquest victory in Galactic Civilizations 2 on max difficulty AI
I won 274 online races in GT Sport, 90% of them being from Gr.3 category with the Pertamina Huracan, no driving assists except for weak ABS.
Now my wheel(T300RS) is the in the vidya drawer.
But I will never forget my first online win against the pros in GT6, it was on Rotenboden with my first plasticky cheap wheel(DFGT)...the feels.
There's nothing to brag about in regards to playing video games.
I beat Sekiro, pretty impressive, right?
I beat every dark souls game at level 1. And I've caught every pokemon legitimately. Yeah I'm autistic, but I'm finding new ways to harness my powers in the real wotld instead of the digital world.
Won a local tourney for SC2 at my local game store and the players were pretty decent. That said I'm pretty sure I'd get my ass handed to me by serious players and I only recently got back to SCVI.
I have nothing to contribute to this thread.
I am a habitual lying sack of shit and always make my stories 1.5* better.
I don't know why I do it either, I just feel shitty about it afterwards, I don't actually care what the other person thinks of what I've told them too.
Bumping this thread for people who actually did something cool.
>4000+ hours in Arma

I reached lvl 60 in vanilla wow
i had fun with heavy rain
Was so obsessed with finishing all side quests before moving on with the plot of fallout 3, every enemy after the fire ants was trivial, and I never met the radio guy because I stumbled on the vault my dad was stuck in by accident while exploring
all gw1 pvp ranks maxed, fuck ncsoft fuck gw2
Unwittingly hit a time limit in Fallout 2
Was one of the top 50 Aberoth players at some point.
Cleared every vanilla WoW raid as current content. It was a year and a half of drama and backstabbing, but fuck if I didn't enjoy it.
I destroyed the last sekiro boss nearly as fast as dsp
off yourself
I cheated in OG Super Mario with the Nintendo Blaster
Beat Kirby Squeak Squad in one sitting, never died once, and got all the treasure chests without revisiting a single level. Also beat Mega Man Zero without upgrading my health while getting mostly rank A and S, partly because I didn't you could upgrade your health
Scrap to unusual in the span of a month.
99% of Yea Forums dont play videogames and out of that 1% that do most are scrubs. What else is new?
im still trying to git gud at FGs in general but combos are too hard for me and my keyboard sux too much to consistently do multi-button inputs for tag fighters. I am impressed with your preseverance.
Bungie's Halos had some seriously insane challenges. Remember Vidmaster Annual in 3? That first 30 feet of snow before the control room ascent was literally worse than D-Day.
I beat GTAIV Ina couple of weeks and Rockstar sent me a pewter key to the city worth $3000 apparently.
Completed Emerald and Platinum's battle frontier although I knew jack shit about strategy and had to learn through trial and error. Younger me was a determined lad.
I beat Ultimortal on Iji as a pacifist
I also completed the pokdex in heartgold
What country.
Years back playing Dynasty Warriors 5 as Zuo Ci, managed to get 9999 kills in one area. Closed all but one gate at the end and after 1,500 I realized something was wrong. Gate Captain was stuck behind a tree away from th gate and didn't aggro with the rest. Fucking hell, it took awhile, but was happy I could confirm it's possible even if just through chance circumstance.
i beat the entirety of mega man 2 and bubble bobble on a nokia flip phone
I'm surprised you didn't run out of time.
Last thing of note I did was beat dead space 2 on the hardest setting. It wasn't even nearly impossible but it sure was thrilling conserving ammo, making crucial telekenetic shots etc.
I used to play CS back in 1.6 days on a server that ranked regular players by their k:d ratio and I held top spot for a few weeks. That's all I can think of
I still have not played any of the Dark Souls games.
Was this actually said during the interview??
Beat Boshy on Hard difficulty
I once showed the leadership skills of Augustus Caesar in a game of Civilization 4 Beyond the Sword.
That was the peak of my life.
I finished The order 1886
I'm the current 49th world best score in doodle jump
I was once the number 1 ranked player in the world for naval kills in assassins creed 3, although this did not last long

I tweeted at hideki kamiya in english without getting blocked
>mmo has online event
>event has leaderboard
>you start playing as soon as the event starts
>for a short time you're number one in the world
Back when the game was fresh I was #1 on the leaderboards in most missions in Perfect Dark Zero and the HD PD on the arcade
I also had 7 day survivor on Dead Rising. This was difficult only because my 360 was RRODing here and there
I've beaten every story mode (offline/online) in monster hunter while naked since tri. not really difficult but definetly not something anyone is willing to waste their time in.
I always play multiple games at a time so I have nothing to brag about besides maybe getting the RISSSET BIGGESDT Fan on persona 4 in my first house playtrough which apperently is a rare thing to do. Also getting the Plat on both ports of God of War PSP games in one go on each they. They are actually not hard.
World first lich king
I beat Contra before breakfast.
I dunno, master status in TGM1? Doesn't feel much anymore.
Diamond Siege
Mostly Solo Queue
I made a bunch of maps when I was 8 for a Dark Reign mapping competition and the devs included them in the expansion.
Based Aussie devs.
>video games

>Top 5 DPS in Naxxramas, in top raiding guild on my server during vanilla, as a Moonkin
>Only buy games I research, love my small collection, platinum/100% almost every game except for those that would make it not fun anymore. on PS3 = 33 games played, 26 plats.
>MGSV plat
Those are off the top of my head. I suppose all my achievements are a testament to willpower first, skill second.
In terms of playing, none.
But so far i got one of smoothest scrolling 2D platformers on the MSX 2, with realtime sprite upload from the main RAM and software sprite flipping.
Now all i need to do is to actually make a game with the engine (and improve it a bit).
The only one i remember being proud of was having all the Seriouslys from gears of war.
I platinum'd every Soulsborne game except for Sekiro (haven't bought it yet).
I beat Ludwig without levelling vitality. He took me three and a half hours to beat on my first try, and he'd still take me 10-15 tries on my second. It's a big achievement for me knowing that I can step in to this fight and not take a single hit now.
I've platinumed every soulsbornekiro game and beaten ds1 ng+ on sl1. None of that is particularly ebin though, i just do it because i like the games
Was a top 3 player on a small unity game
Beat the first 4 castlevanias
Beat battletoads
beating that asshole ng+ Sigrun in God of ps4 on the hardest difficulty.
>fuckhuge healthbar

I‘m one of those idiots who can 100% through the fire and the flames on expert
Completed all F-Zero GX story mode missions on Very Hard difficulty, and beat probably 80% of the staff ghosts
In HS my friend could beat Free Bird on Expert with his eyes closed. It was like the craziest thing I'd ever seen
beat pic related level in 2.13 seconds
I beat super meat boy dark world while having relatively severe paralysis in my left hand. Still movable but only with great effort and it tired out easily.
Got my SC6 main to top 10 in the world.
Twice.
No
I stopped playing Spec Ops when it said that keeping going was against orders.
>DS1
>SL1
>No Pyromancy
Was pretty fun desu
I made it to 11th overall in the world for the dead ops arcade gamemode in BLOPS1. I also made it to 7th in the world for the RUINER colosseum. Later looked who held first place and it was an insane Japanese guy
beating my locals top players in the weekly tourny :)
>RAY on Extreme
Fuck me what a nightmare first time around. Just did it again though and for some reason it was easier. Maybe because everything is still committed to muscle memory.
Vamp is still a fucking nightmare on non-lethal though.
I was on the top 100 leaderboards for Armored Core: Verdict Day for the first 2 months of the games release (stopped playing after that).
I did 1 vs 15 exhibition matches in GunZ with a 75% win rate and didn't get accused of cheating.
I am the 21st person in the world to complete Infinifactory.
I STILL CANT FUCKING FINISH THE LAST PART OF ONE SHOT, ONE KILL ON VETERAN NO MATTER HOW MUCH I CAMP
>Beat every boss on Terraria on hardcore (difficulty, not the stuff that comes after WoF)
>got to the highest killstreak possible on almost every Halo
